Thai 66 is fantastic! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside this intimate restaurant is serving up awesome dishes. My bestie ordered the pineapple fried rice which looked as good as it tasted (yes, I snuck a couple bites). It is a bit curry forward, but the sweetness of the pineapple and dried cranberries balanced it out perfectly. Glass noodles are among my top three favorite Thai dishes and Thai 66's Pad Woon Sen was so good. The noodles and fresh veggies were cooked to just the right tenderness. Thai 66 is absolutely worth a visit.
Stopped here to have lunch with friends. Although we did not expect too much from this place but it overcome our expectations.
Service is pleasant, we got our glasses of water refiled without even asking. Looks like it is some difficulties with communication but it was managable.
Atmosphere is quite cozy. But some smell has that small negative vibe.
Food was delicious, we all agreed that all
meals was top notch. This is the thing that makes you to want come back.
I really recommend this place because of food. But don’t get much expectations from service and atmosphere.
As others have said, it doesn’t look much from outside, but this is a real gem! I had the Spicy Eggplant which was so fresh and so tasty with its light sauce. Great for vegetarians, great for everyone.
Went here yesterday. The place I used to go to is permanently closed.
*updated* unfortunately since my first post, we’ve been back many times. They changed their server and their cook which has caused both service and food quality to go down. Additionally they’re now closing outside their normal hours without telling anyone.
I tried the pad ki mow and their chili garlic edamame. I must say that it was absolutely exceptional. I am thrilled to have found a Thai restaurant, in our little town of Kingman, that has exemplary flavor. There’s nothing I can suggest that they do better, it was great. From top to bottom. I’ll definitely be back often. This is my new favorite spot.
This is my third visit and I'm pleased with the food. I love the Pad Kee Mao. I'll keep coming back in spite of the poor service. It is friendly service—when you get it—however there is a complete lack of knowledge about table service standards. It is a small space but nobody will check on you with regards to water or quality of food. Plates are not removed. On this visit, I decided to test how long I would have to wait for the bill or a glass of water. Too long for my expectations. I hope there is improvement because I want to tip generously!
Very happy we found this place. We went for dinner and it was very crowded and there was only one older gentleman serving and clearing the tables. It would have been nice if he had some help as he was trying very hard to cater to everyone. But his service was great!
We had the fried rice, Spicy Fried rice and the Red curry which came with a bowl of white rice on the side. To drink, I had the Thai Iced Tea. It was too sweet for me as I prefer less sweetness, but it was still good and refreshing. The food tasted great and the Fried rice came out fast. It might not seem great from the outside, but try this if you are in the area!
Overall it’s a nice place. The food is great and the service is fast. It’s nice and quiet, I was 1 of 2 groups there in the whole restaurant. The server was having a hard time understanding English when I was trying to change my dish to take off something, but he was sweet. I’d recommend it. It’s cute and the people are nice.
Pretty authentic Thai cuisine. We really enjoyed the food there. The place might not look fancy, but their food is really good for the price. And the waitress was extremely nice and helpful. If we lived in the neighborhood, we sure would visit there often.
