Not at all surprised it was closed down. Had been going less & less over past few years. Food & service not up to par. Last time I called in an order was about 3 weeks ago. It was SO noisy, we couldn't hear each other. Asked me how I wanted burger cooked, then asked me how I wanted DESSERT cooked !
Wasn't paying attention to call, was distracted & joking & laughing. Thought the place was crowded. When I arrived, only TWO customers sitting at the bar, and 1 customer at a table ( on a FRIDAY night!) All the staff were sitting by back door near bar playing a game on their phones ( including who appeared to be manager?) shouting & laughing. I asked "who answered phone"? I did said the Manager(?) I said No wonder you couldn't hear me. He said Oh that phone sucks. I said BULL#@$# !!!
This is is what you're doing? - very unprofessional. One of the servers had the nerve to stick up for him ( she was playing, too ). Said I'm done with this place. He said sorry for any inconvenience ( with an attitude) And I said "Yeah, right The only one inconvenienced seems to be you" & I left never to go back again. Fridays would be crazy to "place" this guy ( & most of those servers) anywhere else. I'd never hire them. AND the biggest joke in Jersey is you HAVE to pay entry level, unskilled workers $15/hr. I don't know how small businesses stay open, or how you could even start a small business here.
Came in late at 11:10 when they closed at 11:30. Service was phenomenal. 6 of us were still able to put food in. Angela served my beer, cooked my food, and might have even made my car payments not really sure. She is the greatest of al time. Also baptized my child while grilling up my chicken sandwich. She got my credit score from a 723 to a 850.

Food was absolutely disgusting bordering on inedible. We ordered steak dinners for 3 of us. All were ordered the same but came out 3 different ways and even tasted different from each other's. If I didn't know better my steak was boiled before throwing it on the grill for some char lines. The mashed potatoes were bitter. Not sure how that happens but they were. I ordered loaded but I got plain. The ribs smelled so disgusting we couldn't even bring ourselves to try them. Also beware. If you order to go and you ask for your ribs to be made with a sauce, they aren't cooked in the sauce. We ordered the garlic parmesan ribs. It had one small cup with about a tablespoon of the sauce in it. Same happened with the steaks.
Service was nothing to write home about. Wasn't horrible but wasn't worth 4 or 5 stars either.
Unless you like being somewhere that is so loud you have to shout then avoid it here. We were there around 10pm during March madness. We were the ONLY people there and the music was actually louder than the tvs. Why???
Btw I had stopped coming here for 3 years because my husband and i noticed we would get ill every time we ate there. We thought maybe now that pandemic was over it would have come back. Nope. Worse than ever. Not sure how it stays in business. $80+ on a dinner that went literally into the garbage.
We just had the best TGI Friday's experience in the Brick location. Our waiter Jack was just very pleasant, attentive and personable. Food was as expected but the service was exceptional!!
Spent Christmas here with the family. Bill came out to about 130$ while we got a difference of variety and I got my whole family’s opinion. Overall. The Chicken meals. The burger. The Fajitas. The Steak and some sides . Everything was pretty much over done or dry and no seasoning beside the basic Sat and Pepper. And that’s crazy cause we were the first table for Xmas . So we are blessed and wanna just give my opinion cause everyone taste is different. Just needed more juiciness to it and plumpness.
Great atmosphere. Very clean and organized. The customer service is extremely on point here. This is the best AppleBee’s I’ve been to. Michelle the waitress is absolutely awesome. Mark is a wonderful manager.
The female manager has zero customer service skills. Five families in the whole restaurant on a Saturday night yet the manager still has the audacity to be rude disrespectful to the people that actuall visit the establishment. Good luck when you are unemployed because Fridays closes and you can get a job because your rude
Got seated but sat there with my family over a half hour with no server..not to mention it was very slow that day. So what did I do got my family and started walking out the door.. The server who seated up said have a great day see u next time LOL as if we ate. Smh never again.
