Awesome lunch! Delicious food! Impeccable service! Immaculate facilities! I met a long time friend for lunch. This Friday's location is conveniently located in between our homes. Neither of us had previously visited this location. After many years of driving past the restaurant, I'm so glad to have FINALLY visited. I am ashamed for not dining here sooner!! The facilities are gorgeous; it appears to be a fairly new location. It sports a modern traditional look; many nice upgrades and still maintaining the look and feel of Friday's with a fantastic decor and motif! The exterior and interior well maintained and totally immaculate (including the men's restroom!). Our server was excellent! Very patient with my friend and I, as we were both very slow ordering and had a few questions about the menu. The pace of the service and food delivery was perfect for my friend and I, we haven't seen each other in years and had much to catch up on! We started our lunch with the fried mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. Excellent choice and we highly recommend. For entrées my friend had the soup and salad; French onion soup and garden salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the Million Dollar Cobb with crisp chicken as a protein. My salad was another excellent choice. The Cobb is a large salad very fresh and tasty. If interested in a salad, I highly recommend the Cobb! Our entire lunch experience, from start to finish, was perfect. Great friend, great food, great service, great location! Friday's is an excellent location for large and small gatherings. Very diverse menu with many options for everyone. Friday's conveniently located on Hillsborough Rd., easy access from Tampa and Oldsmar.
This is not the TGIF Fridays I remember from years ago. The menu was so so, sort of limited and nothing special. We ordered the trio appetizer. Not so great. The mango salad was decent, though. The waitress was very attentive and did a good job. Maybe they have good drink specials. We aren't drinkers and didn't order alcoholic beverages. It's mid-May, and they still had a dusty looking Christmas tree in lo by area. It's not somewhere I would go back to.
Food was delicious. A variety of different types of foods. Ambience was fantastic, comfortable. Service was great, friendly, efficient. As expected from TGIFridays.
Good food - ordered the signature whiskey glazed sliders ($10) & signature whiskey glazed sampler ($19). Really enjoyed each of the items, except the ribs were okay (need to dip in sauce for flavor otherwise meat very tender). Caesar side salad had good mix of the dressing, 4 croutons & bread stick (yum!). Would be ordered again - perfect for sharing if you're just kind of hungry.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience last night! From the moment we arrived, which was late, by the way, Moss, the host/greeter, was incredible warm and inviting. We were accomodated when requesting specific seats and Moss was very attentive to our needs while we waited for our server, Laura. Laura, was top notch! Our drinks stayed full, our order was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The manager, who's name I didn't catch, was so incredibly helpful when we had an issue with a gift card. Everyone made us feel welcome, heard, and well taken care of. For that, we thank you all, as a team. We will definitely return to this location very soon!
It was a sunny day outside. I work in the cancer field. I decided that I was going to go out for lunch and have a drink. The vibe in this place was nobody talks. It’s complete silence so you don’t even feel comfortable talking because everybody else is complete silence. We figured out that the waitress only talks to the male customers not the female customers she wasn’t friendly she just took her water brought her food did not give conversation, but to the guy at the bar she was friendly as hell weird place would never go again. I’ll spend my money somewhere maybe educate the waitress that female customers can pay to, and if you were a little more friendly, and actually gave some conversation instead of being fake when you come when he tells you have a nice weekend when you really didn’t mean it cause you didn’t talk to us the whole entire time there, maybe educate her that female customers have money to not just the guys.
The food here is great, always fresh. The better aspect of this place though is the staff, especially the bartenders. Every single one of them is a wonderful individual. I come here almost every week. I’m a regular. Can’t get enough of it.
Absolutely love this place. Hubby and I always sit at the bar. The bartenders, Jess, Lori, etc., are so attentive. They are super friendly positive positive and quick with your drinks. If you’re looking for a place, we can watch some sports on the TV and just unwind for a few hours this is it.
