The best of all the Texas Toms locations, hands down. Sometimes it takes a minute but they make all the orders FRESH. When I say fresh, I mean fresh and HOT out of the fryer. I’ve been going there for over 20 years and it’s still as good as ever.
If I could give this a zero star I would. Chicken was burnt on the outside raw on the inside. Cole slaw was frozen, the mash potatoes still had the flakes like the fake potatoes gross, the chili cheese dog was a laughing joke. On a hamburger bun to with fake cheese. The homeless people around that area could cook better than this. Don’t waste you time here
Just got Texas Tom's
I ordered
Italian Steak / Tenderloin sandwich order of deep fried mushrooms and order of onion rings. My order came to almost $24.00
Got home and all the food was way over cooked. Actually burned.
I won't be going back there . I'll go to the one over North.

I’m mad I have to put one star to post. Cuz I wouldn’t give them a star PERIOD!! DON’T EVER GO THERE!! The worst customer service EVER!! A lady covered from head to toe in black wrap was mean and rude. Food was burnt and she wouldn’t correct my order. I asked for a seafood basket that comes with catfish filets and she gave me two burnt fish filets like they serve at McDonalds. She wouldn’t give me tarter sauce and charged me for them. Don’t tarter sauce come with fish?? She said the food wasn’t burnt, said that just how they cook it. She told me I would have to pay for another meal and she said I should have read the menu. I told her I asked her to make sure it was the catfish filets and she said yes. But it wasn’t. I told her that she knows God don’t like ugly and she said so! Wow!! I told her I wanted corporate and she told me just go to the website. I told her I’m giving u the worst review and she should b happy anyone buy from her. And I would ever buy from her again!! So I will make the extra trip and go back to the one on Linwood. So TO EVERYONE DON’T GO THERE!! Times r too hard to waste money with horrible businesses with horrible service and food. Burnt and taste Burnt. Cooking food in dirty old oil???????????? I love Texas Tom’s, just not the independence location!!????????????????????????????????????
My hamburger was was dried up and was in crumbles,my tacos were thrown together. First bite my taco shell broke in half. Never going there again!!
Not sure if this is a Texas Tom's franchise or not. They need to filter their grease all the food was burnt and greasy, Italian steak, fries, mushrooms, asked for extra sauce for the Italian steak and it came without any... It's an old Zips or Checkers building but definitely not the Texas Tom's chain I remember definitely won't return.
Food was fresh & good as usual! The burger is big!
The mushrooms and fries were delicious the burgers were gross I don't believe its real beef. For the prices they charge they should serve real meat
