Best WLM Reviews

The food here is usually excellent and I'm usually glad that I chose here, but this time was a bit rough. The steaks I ordered were burnt and undercooked at the same time. The sides were good as usual, but the rolls were hard!
The first one was the medallions that were ordered medium. The second is the bone-in ribeye that was ordered medium well. Usually when we order this, it's spot on...This time...Not so much.
Heard a few birthday shout outs! Everyone was helpful great atmosphere! Food was great the rolls were amazing! Will definitely visit again!
Negatives: Long wait (40 minutes) for a table after being told 10-20 made for a hungry group. Table and bench were wet and dirty (leftover food transferred to clothes) ????. Music was way too loud so had to shout along with everyone else trying to talk so couldn't have a good conversation. Positives: great food and wait staff were very attentive. Yummy fried pickles (very flavorful and nice and thin) with ranch dipping sauce, cactus blossom fried onion were both hits at our table along with all the complimentary yeast rolls. Our table of 5 ordered 3 different steak entrees, appetizer ribs with steak fries as an entree, and a bacon cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their food!
Well last night was not good.I normally have good things to say about the Roadhouse, but not today. I ordered my food and sat and waited for 1hr. My waiter acted like I wasn't even there. I had to flag him down as he was racing by me for drinks and rolls an no plate.I finally got tired of waiting and asked to just have my food to go. Then waited another 15 minutes to actually get it. If they were busy I could understand the wait. But they were not busy. And also I might add that the steaks here never get cooked properly. Medium is not rare and medium well is not well. Please I hope management looks at this review and takes action .
Service was awful, server Ava should not be there, eye rolls the whole time, she was very irritated with being there, very slow and roadhouse had only been open for 30 minutes, not busy yet!! ordered the Mac and cheese for kids, it is the most awful no taste item. Who ever change to this Mac and cheese it is a big mistake, no seasoning at all at least with Kraft there is a fake cheese taste, most kids love Kraft easy Mac,
Reconsider the Mac and cheese recipe,
I had the pulled pork it was very dry and not up to temperature, did not eat, I know this was leftover from previous night, reheating is 165 or more degrees for 15 seconds or more, I know most cooks are educated on this, or should be, has your cooks all been through safe serve?? where’s the thermometer? Will not be returning any time soon.
It’s a chain, but it’s not bad. And this particular one has really great service - especially in the bar - because of the young woman who served us and is clearly loved by the regulars. Oh, and then of course there is the bread, which is arguably the best thing they serve at the Roadhouse.
The restaurant is pretty clean especially now that you don't get to throw nut shells on the floor, but I could never do that anyway. My husband always knocked them off the table when I wasn't looking lol. People are friendly, but there is wall to wall people around you so don't turn around too quickly or you'll be up close and personal... probably more than you'd like lol!
The food was very good; I had beef tips and mashed potatoes, without onions and mushrooms, and a house salad, which were very good!
Our server was very friendly as was the rest of the employees. The place was packed but we got right in this time with only a little wait time! There wasn't a lot of items on the menu that were under $11.99, but prices are rising folks....

We went to Texas Roadhouse again, but this time it was to celebrate our 17th year wedding anniversary!! We picked out our own steak, so we got a really good one! The staff were really nice too!
I do not think the food today could have possibly been cooked any better. We were really impressed. The steaks, the ribs, our salads, our sides, and 3 different appetizers. ( Buffalo chicken, Bloomin Onion, and Rattlesnake bites). Everything was absolutely perfect. Together with a wonderful and friendly staff made our dining experience the best we have had at in a long time. This one will be hard to top.
