Best WLM Reviews

I haven’t been to Texas Roadhouse in yearsss before visiting on January 21 and it’s as good as I remembered. The restaurant was busy but we were seated fast and got our food and drinks quickly as well. Our server Kelli was phenomenal! She was very kind, funny and interactive with us. I got the legend for my drink and it was good. The kicker wasn’t a necessary purchase but it’s nice if you want to amp up the fun ????. Great place to grab a bite to eat with family or friends.
Everything was great, including our server (I guess Danny Joe), except for the 20-oz. ribeye. It looked very appealing at the refrigerator window at the entrance. We ordered medium rare, which came correct. However, there was absolutely no searing, and we were a bit disappointed at this point. It looked like it was cooked in water rather than char broiled. See the photos below (neither of them is mine). We were expecting something like no. 1, but we got something like photo no. 2. Maybe we didn't order that one right? There was no hint about this on the menu.
This was my first time here and I was excited because I’d heard that it was good. Unfortunately, it was very bad. Our waitress and the staff was the only positive experience we had while there. We got fried pickles and drinks which all came out quick and we’re tasty, a bit on the saltier side though for the pickles. We ordered a 8oz Filet and a 8oz Sirloin both medium well. Those were horrible. We ordered medium well, which is supposed to be slightly pink (that’s also what their menu states). Both steaks were dry, very very well done, and the filet was butterflied which I had no clue they would do. I asked for both steaks to to be recooked to medium because I didn’t want to take any chances and me and my boyfriend both like medium done steaks. I also asked her about the butterflying and she said they do it for medium well or well filets. So, I also asked her not to butterfly my filet. After waiting we got the steaks and my boyfriends had a hot pink center, like the menu states as a medium. However, my Filet, now not butterflied, was not medium. It was medium on the very edges and then rare everywhere else. The waitress asked us how the steaks were and I said fine because at this point we had already been there for 1hr 30ish and I didn’t want to send my steak back again because we had plans afterward. I was fed up and decided that I would cook it later at my own house. Now I know I could’ve been more proactive about the situation, but at this point I doubted they could cook my steak to correct level of rarity I wanted as well as had plans we had to get to. I would not recommend the filet here and if you get it specifically tell them to not butterfly it because it was so dry and not tender at all. Overall horrible experience. The food was bad and it was supposed to be a Valentine’s Day date which was ruined by the bad food. No issues with the staff at all, super nice people. The food was the only problem. Don’t recommend here.
Love the food, the service. The waiting time sometimes is too long cause the amount of costumers but is understandable. But always good service and good food.
Update: tried some new things today and it was not good. We come frequently so we won't be ordering these again but the potato skins came out in a pool of grease, we even tried soaking it on a napkin to see if we could eat them before realizing they were just inedible. We asked the server if that was normal for them and said it was. We also tried the Mac & cheese today and it tasted like they cooked the noodles, left them wet and just poured a bit of sauce on top, it was like eating plain macaroni noodles so that was left as well. We will probably be back at some point because normally it isn't like this but it was disappointing to say the least.
Great food, I have heard about the rolls from everyone and they lived up to the hype. I was especially thankful that the grilled chicken kids meal had low enough sodium that my child who is a heart warrior can actually have a meal out. (They kindly gave us veggies with no butter). Prime rib was delicious, didn't realize the roadkill meal was ground meat but that will just be a learning experience. Ribs kids meal was also great portion and done well with fall off the bone ribs. Overall we will be back.
I'm giving this one a really high star simply due to the server who attended us.
Excellent service. Solid to better then average Texas Roadhouses
This restaurant is a go to for me when traveling or wanting an affordable steak.
Great service.
Though it's always too loud as usual.
Picked up for 4 just to carry out. It was all correct for my order and the food was hot and seasoned perfectly. We got ribeyes, sirloin, chicken, and prime rib. For all the food we got it wasn’t bad to feed 4 very well with steak mostly for $110
Food was actually really great. The restaurant was packed and they still got food out lately. I gave it a four star because our server was not very pleasant. However she did do a good job.
