This place is nothing short of a joke. If 0 stars were an option, that's what it would receive.
Let's start with the arrival. As instructed, we stood under the 1 on deck sign. Which was directly by the kitchen entrance. I watched two different females handle food with no gloves. So whoever got a to go order with fries, just know they were picked around with bare hands.
Getting to the table, it was dirty and wet. I had to wipe it myself. The food took an hour and a half to get to the table. $8 for an appetizer that has decreased in size and at this point should be $5 dollars. I've been to many Texas Roadhouses in different states due to traveling with my job. This is the absolute worst, and I stress the worst. The girl told me she didn't think they even served what was on the menu and had to double check. The rice came out looking like someone put the bare minimum and also buried a plate in it. The medallions were not only all 3 cut in half, I assume to check the quality of doneness. It was overcooked, that meat is one of the most tender and it was so tough. It didn't even taste like filet mignon. It looked and tasted like they cut up a different type of steak. They didn't let it rest before putting it on the rice, so the rice itself was covered in blood. The salad didn't come out until the meal. The shrimp was burned. Paid for a ribeye and didn't get the ribeye. Instead, I received a sirloin. The potatoes were covered in so much salt. I could scrape it off. Again, I stress the absolute worst restaurant I've ever been to. When I say I just threw $80 down the drain. If I could've gotten a refund and left, I absolutely would have done so.
I've been to plenty of restaurants that had fewer employees working, and the experience was 10 times better than what this one was tonight. Again, it was a joke.
It took more than an hour to be served, and when they served us. Our sides were missing. Food was cold. We had to remind them of our fries, loaded potatoes was a mess. We had to carry out our meals. The starter rolls weren’t ready. This was at 7:00 pm. Texas Roadhouse needs to fix management for this site.
this place have went downhill, this is just unacceptable and unbelievable. my burger came out late, then it was burnt. LOOKING LIKE CHARCOAL.???? I don’t want a charcoal burger. If I wanted a charcoal burger, I would’ve told my momma to fye me up one on the GRILL. the key holder, LIED about a table that we wanted to use, for our family. And her exact words, “no one will be siting at that table” ????Then when it came back out it had tomato’s and onions on it, which is what I don’t ask for. Our server, Robert was amazing though. Yall see that damn burger????????????
Got there on Friday Dec 15, at 6pm, party of 7. They said 45 to 50 min wait. Over an hour and we are asking when will we be seated, while standing the whole time. They said they were waiting for a large group to leave to fit us in. After waiting an hour and a half, they seated us in TWO BOOTHS BACK TO BACK! If they were going to do that, they should have asked us if that was ok and seated us much sooner! Took a while for the server to come back and take our orders. Appetizers came out fairly quickly, but the entrees came for just two of us. We finished our meals and the others still had not gotten theirs. So we decided to leave, right as we got up the food came. We refused it, upsetting the person who brought it. Manager called, the only thing we had to pay for was the alcohol drinks, so good on the manager. My dinner was terrible. See photo. Doesn’t look appetizing at all. The onions were slopped into the bowl and were cold. The chicken was thin and TINY and a bit dry. The green beans were the only decent thing. I will NEVER eat here again. All around terrible experience. The kids working the front don’t know what they are doing and we felt a little discriminated against. Felt like we were deliberately delayed while their friends were seated before us but came in way after us. Can’t prove that tho can we?
Sat us a dirty table. The waitress came and sat napkins on top of this red stuff that’s all over the table. When I said something to her she rolled her eyes and walked out… I don’t spend money with rude people.. went to speak with a manager. He told me the waitress was new and the table was good to go.. NOPE CAME BACK AND THE TABLE IS STILL NASTY! Not to mention it was two booths from the restroom. Overheard the chatter about my complaint.. a young African American girl was like “ she didn’t have an attitude…first off you was the serving kiosk, so you clearly weren’t at the a table!!
We’ve dined here numerous of times and each time between this last year it’s gets worse and worse.
No we didn’t dine today and won’t be back!
I always love Texas road house the food was amazing and affordable as always. I got the 8oz sirloin with grilled shrimp smothered in mushrooms and onions with a side of mash potatoes and brown gravy and green beans it was to die for. The only thing I would say is our sever walked by us several times without noticing me and my husband drinks needed to be refilled. It took about 20 minutes to get our first drink but they were busy. There was no butter for the rolls but our sever did find us some. All in all it was a good experience definitely will be back!
Always great food, great service, and a great, clean atmosphere. My wife and I have been this Texas Roadhouse at least 100 times in the 18 years we have lived in Southaven. Never had a bad experience. Waiters and waitresses are always fabulous, and the restaurant managers always come around to greet us and to make sure we are enjoying our meal. 100 out 100 can't beat that. Great restaurant and superb management and staff. Thanks, guys, for all the years of perfect service. A++
This experience deserves a 5 Star. Food is always good, and service is great despite the crowd. I ate too fast and forgot to take the first pictures. Our server was Phillip. He was Phenomenal!
