This is a hidden gem. Great food, good service, reasonable prices and nice portion sizes. My wife, daughter and I saved half our sandwiches for later. Shrimp Po Boys and onion rings were excellent. It's a sports bar but the sound level is reasonable and I was delighted by the all the different sports features - pro, college, bowling, even a lacrosse game. Looks like there's a number of interesting events happening here as well. Great place for eating, watching or conversation. Recommended!!!
Update: this is the same day. We brought home leftovers and I heated up my chicken tonight, just enough to get it hot as it was already cooked... but sadly, it wasn't cooked. Even after heating it up my wings were under cooked. I've added the picture. Very disappointing.
People seem nice, as much as people have built this place up to me, I thought it would be worth it. The sizes are great, but the flavor is very bland. Refills were scarce, which is sad for almost $3 a cup, and it's a standard drinking glass size.
It was definitely just okay.
The atmosphere is peaceful, maybe a little too dim, as we couldn't tell if our chicken was even fully cooked. I did get nice pics of the food, though!
I’ve been to terrys several times and I’ve always enjoyed my self. I went last night with my mom and it was no exception, the food was super yummy and the live music that they had was nice. My only complaints is that when they are busy, they are super crazy busy so expect to wait a little for everything and that the last time I was at terry’s my burger came with a side, last night I was told it wasn’t so we had to order a thing of onion rings for the table which is fine but I was just confused about it. Otherwise it’s a great place and the prices really can’t be beat. Highly recommend!
This place is just absolutely amazing. Best steaks in the area for me personally. The portions of everything are so massive. I got the chicken Parm sandwich and my girlfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich. We both split a fry as well and neither of us could finish. And the prices are super reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend for anyone that hasn't tried this spot yet
Terry’s Place is one of those little hidden jewels. We found the food tasty, properly prepared and the service fun and attentive. My family has been going there for several years, but it was my first. The chef salad was ordered along with three orders of the fried chicken strips and they came with a choice of different sauces. There was so much food we took home four meals for the next day. Our waitress Sage was enjoyable and provided good service. This definitely is a place to put on your bucket list of restaurants when in the Ocala, Florida area. Just before you go, look ???? down below ???? and press the thumbs up ????.

This was the best cheeseburger I've had in a long time. And it was huge. The best part was that the bun, also appropriately sized, did not disintegrate. The sweet potato fries were fantastic and the Big Nose IPA was nice and cold. Good thing we arrived at 4:30 p.m., although the place was packed with lots of gray-haired senior citizens. Like me, they wanted to get their food before the younger set -- and motorcycle types -- arrived. The waiter was fine; the time it took to cook two burgers was not. But like I said, the place was packed with oldsters. When I left, the place was clearing out and the clientele was definitely growing decades younger.
Great bar and grill. Sometimes at this kind of establishment you get great food, but not a lot of it. At Terry's big portions and every bite was amazing! We were recommended to visit Terry's by camp host at Silver Springs State Park. Excellent food!! We would definitely go again next time we are in Ocala.
Food tasted amazing and portions were larger than we expected. Great place to chill and watch sports or have drinks with friends.
If I’m in town, I’ll definitely return and try other things.
