Best WLM Reviews

Food was pretty good for a decent price. Waitstaff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Don’t recommend the corned beef hash. It mostly tasted like ketchup. I got a “small” pancake as my side instead of toast or grits and it was huge! My stepson really liked his pancakes. ????
This place is a must stop if you're in North Jax. It's hard to find a place where the staff is so pleasant to deal with. A local hangout where everyone will chat with you over coffee. Such a breath of fresh air for a dining experience. I had the avacodo toast breakfast special. Everything was cooked to perfection. This place made my Saturday morning. TY Staff! TY Miss Summer for your courtesy and smile. I will be back...
A group of 15 of us went to Terry's after a memorial service around 10:30am on a Tuesday after a memorial service at the Veteran's cemetery. It was one of the only local restaurants open at that time. We had called a couple of days before to discuss the possibility of our group coming, and then called again at 7am that morning and confirmed with a manager about our group arriving after the service, and was assured we'd be accommodated. When we arrived, no tables were set up for us, and wait staff did not want to put tables together because they were assigned to different waitresses. After a few minutes, the manager came out and did put seating together to accommodate two sets of 8 people. I had the favorite breakfast of the deceased... eggs over easy, corned beef hash, and hashbrowns, with toast and tea. Eggs and toast were good. The corned beef appeared to have come from some tube (like sausage), as it came in a 1" thick, 4" wide disk of browned liver-colored mush. It was not good... not the texture, the taste, nor the appearance. (A side order of this mess was one of the more expensive things on the menu. ???) The service was okay, but the failure to have our table/s ready after having called twice and confirmed the plan that morning was unnecessarily complicated during a difficult time. Everyone was cool about the delay: no scene. It was pretty busy the whole time we were there, and the diner atmosphere was good. All in all, I liked the vibe, but I wouldn't make any effort to return for the food.
My wife and I had an awesome breakfast this morning here. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered omelettes with sides. Our omelettes were larger than expected and were awesome. We are going to make Terry's Grill our favorite breakfast place to go to. I did forget that the owner also came out to greet every table and to make sure our food was cooked to perfection. You can not ask for more than that. Awesome dining experience and the price for our meals was not expensive for the amount and tasty omelettes we ordered. Thank you Terry's Grill for an awesome breakfast.
My favorite down home southern cooking in Jax. Wednesdays homemade Chicken and dumplings are the best!!!! Whenever someone is in town, I have to take them here, no cookie cutter, real cookin!
Great breakfast! On a trip to Ocala Florida and stopped in here! Great food and great atmosphere!
First time here on a visit to the area... We were looking for something local which this is. Came for brunch after service at Eleven 22 church... They were a little busy and had to wait since we had 6 people about 20 mins. There is not much waiting area inside so be aware. Manager was super friendly as we waited outside. Food was great... Had the club, breakfast bowl and country style steak... Everyone enjoyed the meal... Service was fine... Could have checked on us more but it was packed so we understand. I would definitely come back. Tables were clean and again the food was great. Prices are still better than most as you get plenty of food for the price. Give them a try like we did. Shop local.
We came in from Connecticut on our way to St Augustine. The server was attentive, a they had a full menu . A Very large cup for their soft drinks! Awesome! Food may take awhile to come, but there is a sign that tells you, “ This is homemade food it takes a while”. Our food came out hot and made to order. We Highly recommended this restaurant. It seems the locals know this already because it was busy. What a great find❤️
