It is amazing to me to have an airport so big and spread out that you need the sky link train to get from terminal to terminal. But the sky link access is strategically placed about midway between every 40 gates in each terminal. It took us a short walk to access skynlink from terminal B gate 37 to terminal E, then a short walk to gate 38. Less than 15 minutes. Bathrooms and places to eat are also everywhere.
July 1st. Busy travel weekend. Not a soul working the counters. Backed up and kiosks won't let people check their bags.

Not a lot of food selections & since DFW is American Airlines main hub the other terminals such as this one for Delta and other airlines get relegated to a sub-par experience.
It's a nice terminal with good benches for resting and had a feeling of extra clean or less clutter than some of the others.
The Terminal E Bus Station is nothing special. The bus to the rental car complex is mediocre and not passenger centric.
Never fly with Frontier. A whack experience the entire way. I had to pay an extra 39 bucks to select a seat in the plane, both ways. My tickets were sent to my phone with half of the scanner bar cut off, forcing me to spend 25 bucks for someone at the airport to print it off. I had a personal item, and they charged me 75 bucks as a carry on. Confirmation codes didn't want to work until two days later, forcing me to download the worst app ever made for an airline. All people associated with frontier at the airport were not helpful at all. I had a flight scheduled to leave at 3pm, plane was delayed to 3:45pm with no explanation or announcement from ANYONE. then it was delayed to 6pm. Again, with explanation from anyone. NEVER flying with these chumps ever again.
Easy boarding and access to gates. Wait times was just 5 mins for security check. There is a huge difference between 6:30am and 7:30am, so definitely head over early as you can and relax at the gates for a smooth check in experience.
