I’ve traveled through so many states that I know many states have their own Mexican style. When I asked what style of food the server did not know. I wish my order would have had more meat than veggies. When the server brought my food he asked me if I wanted flower or corn tortillas. When I said corn he took the tortillas on my plate and took him 15 minutes to bring my corn tortillas l. Inés drone eating by this time. The portion of the rice and beans was too small.
I have been sleep! This place is amazing!!!!!! The drinks were good, the service was ok, but the food was absolutely AMAZING (except for the tamale..it was hard and dry)! I left stuffed and they didn’t break the bank!
My husband and I got the fajitas and they were delicious. I was a little disappointed because they did not know how to make my favorite mixed drink. They attempted but did not get it quite right. It was our first time eating there and we'll definitely come back.
Nacho bravos, soft tacos, thick salsa all excellent. Very clean, very pleasant staff and the food was very tasty with generous portions. The manager and owner(s) definitely have their stuff together.
Parking is easy peasy and getting back on the road wasn't an issue. Very good restaurant we'll come back to.
The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is recently, the margaritas have been weaker and the serving of fajitas smaller. Given the economy, this may be financial survival methods, which is understandable and not enough reason for us to quit dining there. The food tastes great and the service is always excellent.
Got my first serving of shrimp quesadillas over there. Very good and authentic but I found out my quesadillas had more onion, bell pepper, and tomato than shrimp
My favorite Mexican food around Cenla! (Maybe my favorite place period...can't seem to think of better food off the top of my head..) Authentic!!! The staff is becoming more attentive, compared to when they first opened.
UPDATE: now it's 2 years later. The service slowly started going downhill and is now at base level service. The past 3 visits my order has been made wrong the first time. Yes, it gets fixed, but today was the LAST STRAW! I'm highly allergic to dairy and they scraped off the sour cream they mistakenly put there in the first place!! I now have to go home, take benadryl and pray my throat doesn't close up. I will never return!!! Pic for proof.
Usually have amazing service but last night a friend and I were there and idk what was wrong with our waiter but he was absolutely rude and rolling his eyes at us and just acting like he didn’t want to be there. Then on top of it I see a hair in my drink! After 10 minutes I finally get the rude waiters attention and he just says what do you just want another ! Definitely won’t be back !
