I've been to several Hibachi style grills, this one was probably the worst I've been to. This was the first I've been to where the chef didn't do an onion volcano. All we got was an initial fire at the beginning. And a little juggle of the spatula at the beginning. Very lackluster performance on the chef's part.
The food... overcooked, under-flavored, over-priced. I paid less per plate in Honolulu, and the food was much better. I guess you can't get good hibachi in Lehi.
Overall this was a disappointing experience. I do not recommend it.
That was a lot of food. I have been to other hibachi grills and they have half the meat I got in this place. Not to mention the pile of rice in the bowl that was not a small bowl. Let's just say I took home a container that was filled after filling myself... and my wife did as well... and everyone at the table all took home containers similarly. Nice chef, did the normal stuff you come to expect, but again, it was entertaining.
I’m surprised there are so many poor reviews. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and abundant. I took home so many leftovers!! Definitely don’t expect it to be a quick experience, it’s definitely time-consuming, but in a good way! It’s very fun to watch the chef at work. My only critique is that I’ve seen more exciting performances, but he still had some cool tricks to keep our attention.
What a gem of a place. The wait was a bit slow (they were a little understaffed today) but totally worth it. Staff were friendly and professional and the food was great. So fun to see the skill of the chefs preparing our meal. Grateful to have a place like this in our community. If you’re not in a rush, this is the perfect place to spend some time with dear friends and excellent food :)
Hands down the worst environment ever. The older lady is beyond mean trust me you will know who I’m talking about when you see her. First We told her we wanted to get sushi and grill but she was mad and told me they don’t do that it’s either one or the other. We explained that we were still waiting for people in our party to come but we wanted to wait inside they were still 30 minutes out but she insisted we sat at a table to wait. There was other people ready to order at the table we were sitting at but we were still waiting for our party so I asked if we can just wait by the entrance and all get seated together once our party got here so the other people didn’t have to wait on us to get started. She then got mad and told me you guys need to order fast or wait an hour for another table. We ended up going back to the original table we were at 30 minutes prior after she made those people wait for us and then was getting mad that the people we were with didn’t know what they wanted right when they walked in the door. She didn’t give them menus to look at to even see what they wanted. She got mad they asked for menus and said “I said order fast” she was extremely rude! Idk how they are in business they then added a tip to our bill already when we weren’t even a party of 5. Not to mention the sushi was bad and made my husband sick! Never going again!
It was ok. Servers not to friendly. You go to a place like this for the experience and we could tell our tables chef just was not into it that night or just having a bad day. Didn’t say a word just cooked and pretty much left. But the food was delicious. Will try again and hopefully have a better experience.
I have never been to a place where the waitress actually argued with our company, laughed and then added you can go if you don’t like it. Our question was why our wait was so long and another table seated long after us was served first. Never did serve those that wanted water and refills were hard to come by. Salads were served to half our group then another moment to ask the waitress why. Again told if we don’t like it you can go! Why the argue!!! I’ll not come here again
Absolutely horrible service! Had a reservation at 5:00, sat down at 5:15, finally got food service started at 6:10. No refills, food was so slow and the server was absolutely rude! When I complained about the time and waiting forever, the waitress laughed at me and said we could leave if we wanted. This place used to be so great, sad it’s turned into a bad experience and below average dirty restaurant. Wonder what happened?!?
