CAUTION NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED: we typically go to the Temple diner or the Leesport diner. Ordered an omelette and did not want the potatoes or toast instead asked for cottage cheese. This diner was unable to make that substitution. Could they have substituted this item and just charged me for it? anyway, Leesport diner does this for me all the time. At a time when eating out is expensive I don’t mind paying but expect a certain level of service. By the way, they charged me full price for the omelette breakfast without the potatoes or toast. Check out Leesport diner about a mile away for better food, service and prices.
Update:
I just looked at the menu and it seems the chicken croquettes have disappeared. Some changes appear to have been made to this diner and I fear it has lost its charm.
Oh well. Nothing stays the same.

My wife and I were in town on business and we thought we’d grab some dinner before heading home. We don’t really care for chain restaurants so The Temple Diner fit the bill perfectly for us. We were greeted with a smile, our waitress came right away, and we got our food a few minutes later. The Temple Diner did not disappoint. My wife had an omelette and I had a cheese steak sandwich. Both were great, I will come back when in Temple again. ????
First time there I sat at the counter for breakfast, waitresses very nice and kept checking on me to sure all is good with my meal that came out very quickly. Customers at the counter friendly and made recommendations of what to order. Price was average and food was good.
i’ve been coming here for years and never had any trouble ! the place is also really clean. the waitress are so nice. the food really is good and fills you up !
The food is good & hot and the service was excellent. I forgot my leftover on the table and our server came out and gave it to us. Thank you so much. She was awesome
Great place to eat. This was our first time here and we were extremely happy with our meals. The clam chowder was very good. Our entrees were excellent. The restaurant was very clean. The staff is very friendly and upbeat.
I did order the glazed carrots, while they were good it is not something that I would have ordered had I know they were made with orange marmalade. I'm not a fan of orange marmalade.
The crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms were delicious and were not made with a bunch of filler.
We will be back when we are in town again.
Redid this review and upped it to 5 stars. The food is consistently great. There is nothing worse than having a restaurant that has amazing food sometimes and why they deserved to go from 4 to 5 stars. The food has always been excellent and that is every time I've gone there and they always cook the food exactly how asked. The portions are decent and so is the price. Plus this establishment is very clean including the restrooms. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even for a late night meal being they are open 24 hours a day and with my busy life I usually don't eat dinner until after midnight plus the desserts are incredible too.
