Best WLM Reviews

Teharu is good if quantity is more important quality. It's not as good as what the Teharu used to be in North Scottsdale but you can't beat the price. Not too many raw fish items though when we were there. The shrimp and fish cake deep fried noodle wrap was pretty good. Didn't get the name of it though.
I recommend Teharu Sushi Restuarant. ????????
Pros:
- A cool conveyor belt experience.
- Nicest staff I have ever met.
- Very affordable
Cons:
- Not somewhere you'd bring a big party of people/your whole family
- Seating is limited
This was my first time to a revolving sushi restaurant and it was such a cool experience. They have the main sushi bar seating, but they might have booths. ???? It seems like the sushi options are neverending because something new is always in front of you. The staff was quick to refill our drinks and were super nice. ???? This was the best priced sushi we have had and we are stuffed. The sushi was good. ???? I recommend taking a friend, 2 at most, because the bar seating is right next to each other, and you don't want anyone to be left out. ???? Definitely a gem. ????
This is my boyfriend's go to for sushi lunch. I am new to the area and am always excited to try new eateries. This place did not disappoint. Was my first sushi boat/revolving sushi experience and I LOVED IT. We went in at noon on a Thursday, was plenty of seating, was sat right away. The options were great and everything tasted fresh. We both filled up, had a beer and sake, and the bill was maybe $30. Definitely excited to go back, hopefully this week.
I love this place. Its the most affordable revolving sushi in the Valley. We come visit from Tucson and this place is a must go. The sushi is fresh , everything tastes good. The small portions gives you room to try many more things than you would have been able to.
The only complaint I have is when we went there last night, nobody refilled our water. We had to ask EVERY SINGLE TIME. As someone in the restaurant business for the past 12 years…. That is so not okay. We had to ask not once but every single time we needed more water.
I understand they were busy but they seemed annoyed that we kept asking for refills, but trust me its annoying as the customer to have to ask for the DAY-1-server stuff. Customers simply should not have to ask for more water. ????????‍♀️ That is Service101.
I have been coming to this sushi restaurant for years now, it is one of my favorite places for revolving sushi. However the service is going down hill. I was waiting for a table which one of the waitresses had stated was fine even though we had two people. I have always sat at a table with two people. I am just not a bar girl. However one of the waitresses, do not know her, had never seen her before this night, she had long black hair, skinny and short. She came over to the waiting area and made a rude comment about a party of two wanting a table. And went to complain to the man that is bald with glasses. After that the man came over saying that we are not aloud a table and we had to sit at the bar because they won’t sit parties of 2 of a table in which I responded that I had just talked to another waitress and she said it was fine for me to wait. He then asked who and went over to her and “handled” her as he put. So he said we can either sit at the bar or take a table for two that was not apart of the revolving sushi bar. So I told him the bar as fine. However the rudeness I experienced by the girl waitress that complained and the man that “handled” it was crazy to me because I have never had a bad experience with this restaurant! But I will not be returning because of this. Customer service is so important even for regulars.
Overall Ok.. I love Sushi.. my husband not so much. But this place gets 4 stars and not 3 purely because it is 100% wheelchair accessible. Which if you read my reviews know it’s extremely important to me. Our server was kind and gave good recommendations on sake. The variety was a bit lacking overall, the sushi I did choose was not fishy or lacked flavor. It’s definitely a fun spot and reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back with visiting family.
Love thus place. Since I found out about it 4 years ago. I take my family there now. They have awesome prices and definitely get your money's worth. Atmosphere is great! Customer service for in house and pick up is great. I never like sushi until going to them and now all I do is wait for 11 when they open ????
My husband and I have been dining at this location for the past 5 years. We’ve tried all the other revolving sushi bars in the area and always come back to this location. We don’t even go to the Mesa location, which is technically not affiliated with the Tempe location. We always go Saturday nights and have the best time. The one gentleman server who is always there is the best, I feel so bad we don’t know his name, but he knows us as regulars and always stops by to say hello! Teharu is our go to for a feel good time and we always leave full. We will always be back! We love this location and their food!
