Nice little place in Pekin. Not really a great dine-in restaurant, but it’s an easy carryout spot. Good food and nice staff. Definitely recommend. See review picture for most updated menu.
Got the pepperoni pizzas and break sticks, pizza was pretty good, wish the bottom was a little crispier dining room is small but has a nice big TV on wall to watch/listen to.the old school Mitsubishis in the back was cool big props
I was reminiscing today and talking about the time I lived in Pekin Indiana for 6 months.. I'm 44 now and it was around 23-24yrs ago.. I rented a little apartment right across the street from this place.. The guy who owned the apartment also owned the local gas station (Sunoco) The apartment was on the side of an old converted building... They had a tiny little grocery store (Newlons) and a bar next door to the restaurant called the rusty nail or something like that... I went to this place every single day (If its the same one, I can't remember the name) and ordered bosco sticks amongst other things.. They were always so friendly and the food was great.. I met some cool people in this town and I also was a fish out of water... I came from the city and this wasn't that!! haha. Some truly fond memories there.
Stopped by here from a hard day at work thinking that a Hoagie BLT would be nice!! Heard and read all kinds of good reviews about this place.
Ordered it with fries, for $10.15
The hoagie had 3 pieces of bacon broke in half.
One piece of lettuce and one tomato..????
The fries were burt like they just reheated them up in the old oil in the deep fryer....☢️

Prices keep going up but no updates online as to menu so it’s always a surprise. I don’t like their pizza because all the toppings slide right off the crust and I no prefer a sweeter pizza sauce. I am the minority in my household though. But honestly, my kids prefer dominos. If going outside “fast food” pizza, then it’s mazarellas or pizza king in new Albany.
We were regular customers but the service and products offered have declined tremendously. On more than one occasion we ordered and didnt get what was ordered or got food that was uneatable. For instance we ordered Friday the 8th, 2023 and got clearly burt food. We drove to the store and simply requested a replacement. We were refused and told it wasnt burt and given $3.00 back. The owner Teena was very rude on top off it. Wont return and will let anyone know how bad the service is.
The strom was amazing! The bread made it! Absolutely delicious! Best strom I’ve ever had!!
My two daughters and I moved to town not long ago so we are new to the area and the local restaurants. We tried out teena's pizza one night and it was child/family friendly, laid back, have a tv, a bathroom, retro like, and they are nice and accommodating people. They worked hard back there you could tell and it paid off too. Very impressive! Every time! I love coming there!!!
