Ted's Place is the best place to eat everything they got on the menu the breakfast burrito ???? got me so full and satisfied i didn't have space in my stomach for more ,the costumer service was amazing and the food was amazing!!!!!! Definitely going back for more and sending all my friends to go get something too eat too !!!! It was really good !!!!! ????
The food was fresh - I'll give them that.
I asked for my vegetarian omelette a certain way that it seemed the chef agreed to, but then he didn't do it that way, and when I saw and mentioned this, he told me not to tell him how to fo his job.
I like my omelettes the classic way - all fillings including meats if any, veggies snd cheese all folded inside the egg patty AFTER the egg patty is cooked, NOT MIXED into the eggs! Once he understood this, he said that's way too much work!!!
How is holding back the fillings until the end and then folding them in that much extra work??
The cheese wasn't very flavorful either, way too mild.
The vegetables were mixed in with the eggs. To me that's not an omelette but rather a scramble.
I'm sure that other dishes there that are made the way customers expect are probably good, but spinach/veggie omelettes are one of my favorite dishes when done right. It's important to me. This was not done right, and I don't like the chef's attitude.
As it stands I don't plan to go here again unless this can be cleared up, even though their salads look tempting in the puctures on their menu board.
I don't think customers should be treated this way.
Horrible customer service. Two girls where there today and where talking about their cellphones and their tias. Complete ignored me while I was inside then asked me to come outside to take my order. After that the younger girl kept talking to the older girl so I just took my business elsewhere. Not cool. Lived across the street for years and have never been treated that way. Super disappointed. There’s always LBJ and pollo loco on PCH. ????
Heuvos Rancheros from Ted’s Place
On the inside: a classic LA diner with booth seating and large, bright dining interiors. The building sits a bit farther off Sepulveda so traffic isn’t heard much from inside.
I noticed a staff, using a slight positive racial profiling, determined there was a high probability of them making a solid Heuvos Rancheros
The depth of flavor from the salsa and the strong tortilla made this a go to dish. Meals include hash browns or home fries and toast.
The home fries were cooked near perfect with a quick strong outer grill creating a nice crunch and a medium cook on the inside.
I suggest dipping the buttered toast in the rancheros along with the hash browns.
When asked, the cashier preferred the hash browns over the home fries.
Nice and accurate service. A well maintained establishment.
The worst place ever I order a combo plate . It took 30 min to receive my order. Should've taken that as a hint . They gave me the food that looked liked beef jerkey the meat was so hard and dried . It was plain disgusting.. ohh and the rice was cold as hell ... never ever again
Place wasn't open at 6 like it says. Waited for the guy for 10 minutes and was completely ignored. Finally he opens the door and says it opens in 30 minutes. It's 6:16. Poor customer service. ????
I’m looking forward on trying your teriyaki plates ived been looking for another teriyaki place that does the teriyaki like in the photos since my last place closed down but it looks exactly the same mmm ???? i hope I like it and it’s good ???? please
The Chicken Teriyaki here is quite the find. I highly recommend it.
Fair prices and Huge plates of Quality Food.
EDIT. I just realized since that day I have now been back for my 12th chicken teriyaki. I did try the mix of beef and chicken one time but went back to the chicken teriyaki with salad. I never choose the French fries so I don't know how good they are I prefer the salad with Italian dressing.
