After arriving in California with my daughter, my vehicle began leaking coolant from the radiator. After contacting several mechanics in the area, I found Ted's to offer the best price. What stood out to me was their authenticity and recommendation to test for a blown head gasket first, providing me with much-needed peace of mind. Coming from a background where I relied on the guidance of the men in my family back home, I'm grateful to have found Ted's for reliable automotive support.
Honesty. In my personal opinion, it’s the most important attribute for any auto repair shop. Ted’s Garage has proved they are exactly on point with this. I will take all my vehicles there and refer all my friends to them. And… they smog. Double ????????
Plus, a clean garage, to me, means that they are perfectionists as well. Vital when it comes to car care.
I took my 2007 Chevy Suburban for an EVAP service and they got it done. It took a couple times taking my car in. The second time was to go over what they may have missed and they did find the problem. They took me in as a priority, fix the issue and didn't charge me. That was gold. I appreciated that.

These guys are great. They dont overcharge for things that are not needed. They keep you updated with their progress and the price is extremely fair. The only negative is that it is hard to park because they are always busy. Even so, they will have my business now and as long as they stay in business.

This guys are honest and they know what they are doing. This is the first time I visit a mechanic and feel that I can trust in them. Thay are on it, they get back to you right away and their prices are very fear. I 100% recommend this place!
Definitely a dying breed. This Mom and Pop operation of 40+ years is still thriving! Factoring in their commitment to quality work at affordable rates, stellar customer service and being completely trustworthy, the reseipe is solid for another 40+ years of service.

You don't need an appointment; you can show up first thing in the morning - though I'd make one if you're in a rush.
They're always very fair about their pricing, and I've never had issues with any of the work I've had done on my cars. They'll work at it until they've fixed the issue or try to send you to a fair business that can help (if some sort of specialized work is needed).
They also will look at your car for free and tell you what's needed and you can purchase parts and bring them in yourself which saves on cost too. Definitely give them a try!
