2018 Acadia thermostat. I called yesterday and talked to a guy about getting it replaced. It's been so difficult to get work done since covid. He told me they could do it today and quoted a price much cheaper than the dealers 2000. I took it in this morning around 9:10 they were not ready to take customers and I had to go so I left it with no paperwork, something I don't like doing. Stopped in a couple hours later and did paperwork. Bobbi was very professional. He said he could only find parts at a dealer and began to explain what had to be done to replace the thermostat on this car, I already knew but he still explained it. The price was slightly more than what was quoted on the phone but I was not surprised. 800.00 for what would have cost me 2000 at the dealer was a steal. I also asked several times if it would be done today, he said yes and surprisingly it was. Super excited! And even buffed out a spot where someone hit me at no charge. When I called I actually thought I was calling a different shop by a similar name. I'm glad that they didn't have time to do it and I took a chance Here instead.
I was there on a weekend for a newly bought used 2006 Saab 9-3 dripping oil transmission and a low level coolant warning light. The oil drip was diagnosed as a previous bad install only missing a couple of screws and a dip stick not seating correctly. The coolant warning light was diagnosed as most likely a sensor but the car does not overheat and there are no leaks. These guys are very honest, knowledgeable, efficient, and charge a fair price for their jobs. I 1000% recommend this mechanic shop.
I'm not a big car expert, but the guys at Tech 2 were informative and patient with my questions. They got my job done in a timely matter (I had called ahead). Also, very polite.

Jhony and Bobby took care of my Mazda 3 2008 that needed a engine mount replacement. Service in time, honest people. I'll definitely come back here.

Bobby is a great guy very honest and he fixed my car after I took it to 3 different places and they couldn't fix it also he showed me another part that was messed up on my car he did a great and fast job I would recommend this place to anyone!! My nephew recommended me!! I will always go back to him anytime my cars acts up!!
Excellent service. Very professional. Owner has a lot of integrity and didn’t overcharge me. That’s very hard to find at a Metro Detroit auto shop. I will be taking my car here whenever I need work done in the future.
