We loved it. This is a cozy place at the far side of the sea promenade. We waited a bit for the food but it was worth it. Everything was delicious, with a nice, original touch to otherwise classic meals. The staff is warm, smiling, talkative with the customers. We went there for a drink, stayed for the food and café because it felt good, clean and welcoming.
Flat Proseccos which was almost forgivable but we got rudely kicked out for having ice cream with us. The owner could have been more polite about it.
Edit: it was an aperol spritz, which means you water it down rather than use Prosecco? Thanks for disregarding everything else :)
Great sangria and fast service but... the waitress was sooo unfriendly with us! She was wearing a 'love' t-shirt but obviously didn't love non-Flemish customers! My boyfriend is English and for some reason she talked to him in bad French, and because he couldn't understand her and was indecisive, she just decided for him and walked away. How rude!
Best place for a drink and snack. Very friendly service and best price/quality within a mile.
Heerlijk stoofvlees, beste van omstreken. Lekkere balletjes in tomatensaus en als snack raad ik de croque 't genieterken aan. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening, denken ook steeds aan onze hondjes, doe zo verder.
Bediening ging wel maar kon vriendelijker. Het slaatje en de kinderpizza’s waren smaakloos, en in de garnaalkroketten was amper een garnaal te bespeuren
Goede service, lekker gegeten, vriendelijk, aanrader.
Ben ziek geweest en vraag voor mijn bestelling of ik 1 croque monsieur kan krijgen in plaats van 2 zoals op de kaart staat. Dit blijkt geen probleem. Verder bestel ik nog iets om te drinken.
Wanneer ik ga betalen blijkt dat ik 2 croques en mijn drank moet betalen. 'Omdat we een witte kassa hebben' is de uitleg. ... Tja
