This was my 2nd time at this establishment and like the first time I was impressed. I don't remember the waitress name the first time, but Kim was my waitress this time and she was wonderful. The food was awesome. We had ribs and they are truly fall off the bone ribs. Whenever I come to the beach, this is definitely on my list of to go to places
Decided to try TBonz Grill & Grill after spending several hours across the street at Grand Prix. I can't remember our servers name, but I remember she's from Maryland. She engaged us in conversation about different seafood and places to visit there. I tried the She Crab Soup that was so good I got a bowl to take home! After that I ordered the Market Street Chicken & Shrimp Entrée. I could only eat half of it due to it's large portion size, so I had to take the rest back to my room to finish off later. I washed it down with a tall glass of Yuengling. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the different photos of Elvis, along with other celebrities. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to grab a bite. The staff was super friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything.
My boyfriend got the sirloin with crab and shrimp sauce and baked potato with green beans and I got a NY strip with loaded mashed potatoes and green beans. Both ordered steaks cooked medium and they were true to that even with different cuts of steaks. We shared a slice of each of their cheesecake/pie slices they had (key lime pie and blueberry cobbler white chocolate cheesecake). Best local place for steaks at an amazing $22-$32 rate. Excellent service, excellent food and a great ambiance. Will be a returning customer ????
I stopped in to Tbonz tonight not knowing what I was in the mood for. It's been about 4-5yrs since I have eaten there I believe.
Since I was by myself I sat at the bar at the end near the service station. Between the bartenders helping me and all of the wait staff that would come pick up next to me, I must say everyone there was very friendly and helpful to each other and their guests. I barely heard any complaining or whining, all good stuff which is always nice when you go somewhere.
I Had a couple John Dalys to drink ???? You can't go wrong with Sweet Tea vodka!
I was thinking I'd probably get an entree, maybe steak or ribs. Then I saw "our famous double fried wings"
It was a few mins before happy hour ended so I put in an order of the wings. I wasn't sure what flavor I wanted so I asked my bartender.
She suggested the dry rub for something different. Since I have been on a dry rub kick when making my own wings at home that seemed like a good choice.
The wings came out looking super delish. (See picture for proof)
The first bite I was immediately taken back by the insane crispiness of them. The double fried would do that I'm guessing!
Definitely a game changer. But the dry rub was the downfall for me. There was sooo much caked on the wings I kept scraping it off as much as possible. They were Soo salty my eyes were crossing. It also seemed like someone took the spice rack picked random ones and added them along with sugar, cinnamon, salt and other salty seasonings to create this rub.
The whole time I was wishing I would have gotten them plain or sauced with something else. Because the wings themselves are so good and very crunchy but after a couple I was just battling through them with that dry rub that was making it hard to enjoy.
I would definitely get the wings without the dry rub. I would actually get them plain with sauce on the side if I were you. This way you can enjoy the full Krispy krunchiness of the wing!
I think the last time I came I had probably steak baked potato which I think was very good. You should check this place out it's worth it.
I enjoyed myself I was there for a birthday celebration. For the party yo be so large I think we should have had two waiters instead of one to help with time, service, and remembering orders. It wasn’t bad though with just one person. Look at photos below. Thank you.
Went for lunch and got a fairly wide range of dishes/apps and EVERYTHING was fantastic! Did we just get luck and hit only their best items? Doubtful! Service was great, too. Sure it was off season, but did what needed to be done.
We visited 05/27/24 late afternoon from out of town for the holiday/posts bike week. We were a large party of 7, our wait staff was Irelynn. My husband and I ordered the burger and the steak salad, and both were very good. It was our appetizer that was the show stopper. We ordered the usual restaurant option of cheddar fries. What was placed in front of us was not the usual or what we expected. Instead, there was a plate with a large amount of what appeared as red potatoes on a bed of ranch dressing covered with cheese and bacon. One bite said it all! WE DEVOURED IT! The entire plate! We both agreed that we had not ordered our entree, and we would have ordered another of the yummy potato concoction. When in town again, we will be back! And you know what for! The Tommy Texas Cheese Fries
Everything was delicious. The nachos were incredible. Kim was a great server. No waiting. She held it down. The only funny thing was I Google the menu before I went. I'm a big fan of French onion soup. The menu said they had it and it was overflowing with onions. They don't have french onion soup.
