The food was quite good. I really enjoyed the chicken grilled salad and the agda. Definitely recommend this restaurant and the service was spretty good and the delivery was fast.
I visited this place at brunch time as I heard some good reviews about this from Friends and Family, wanted to give it a try.
We ordered zatar bread with cheese and it tasted good, tea was good as well, ask for Adani tea with cinnamon and you will thank me later. They have other Yemeni items you can try too. Overall it’s a good place.
Parking is limited so be prepared for that.
I bought Sharwma beef last time one sauce white was empty now she give me this I taste it different think may be expire something else Taza bakery owner need royal person glasses lady making fool around she give me different thing I’m not suggesting now anyone for going there. Fire this glasses lady I wanna complain next time food department about Taza bakery glasses lady not good she is working evenings to night given expired things. I save this sauce for prove glasses lady she don’t deserve this job How can I praise this woman, she lies so much standing at the reception and the real sauce of her shawarma is white and she gave me this brown sauce and it is a dirty test as if it is expired, she is not honest lady this woman who is deceiving people here. I’m done I’m not going there
Food is cooked fresh.Never ever have I had food that was stale or cold. Their kitchen is always cooking to a point where their they run out of food for the day at times … authentic Yemeni food
Another great place to dine inn in Chicago located in Devon avenue towards McCormick Ave. The best place for Yemeni food. I highly recommended. Sometimes it's crowded but it's worth the wait.
We drive an hour away every time we want to eat Yemeni food. This place is the best.
Highly recommend this authentic Yemeni food by Abu Hanee. He is the original owner and cook of Shibam now running this transformed place previously known as Taza Bakery. We just catered for 100 people and had an amazing experience. The quantities were amazing and the guests said it was the best Yemeni Lamb Mandi they ever had. We also got Hummus and Grilled Chicken and everything was phenomenal.
