Older grounds for long term lease. Only a few sites to stay in. No kids play areas or swimming. Bathrooms need work... hit or miss for clean. Store ok for stock. Owner more worried about his wine sales. Look elsewhere for more fun. Good bay view.
I had a great time fishing, the area outside to picnic with the kids is beautiful overlooking the bay. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. It is great to be able to take our dog with us. Everyone is friendly. The laundry area is a bonus and the stoe carries so many items. I love going there.
Had a wonderful time. Friendliest people around! My kinda place. Wonderful views! Lots of wildlife, can't say enough!... And thanks to big Doug for the koozies!
This place is really beautiful ! One thing to know is there are no hook ups for black water only a a septic truck , however it is available to clean you out at an additional cost . Aside from that this campground ⛺️ is really nice and has friendly staff ????
My husband and I LOVE THIS PLACE. My Grandson's bug all winter about they can't wait for summer to go to the camper. The owners are very, very nice. The people that run the camp store are wonderful and if you want or need good advise the person who you want to see is a wonderful man named Turtle. He tells it like it is whether you like it or not. Very humble man, love him. The fishing, swimming and all the camping family there are the best. At sunset you will never see a more beautiful picture. I hope it never goes away.
Nothing fancy and it's all about the fishing. This is an old, vintage campground right on Chesapeake Bay. I rented here and it wasn't anything special but, judging by the number of folks camping around me, it's well known and liked; especially by local folks. There is a fuel dock and pump-out for your boat as well as a small store selling most of anything you may have forgotten along with a good selection of beer, wine, rods reels and tackle.
Rustic little campground right on the bay. Friendly and accommodating owners and staff. The little campground store is used by the whole village and has most anything you need. Even a whole aisle of wine selections! The campground owner also owns the marina right at the public boat ramp so if you want to keep your boat in the water it is not a problem. We watched cargo or cruise ships right from our bay front campsite every day!
What a scenic little spot Friendly people, quaint and very chill. I fished the seawall (no charge) it was old, but I parked right where I fished. They have a bathroom that I could walk to in less than a minute. Place was clean, store was well stocked. Would highly recommend.
