There’s a saying that goes “Less is more” and that statement rings true for the aesthetics of Taylor Southgate bridge compared to its neighboring bridges. It doesn’t have a pop of color like the Purple people bridge, the large hump like the Beard bridge or the charm of the Roebling bridge but it does offer the most scenic of views. You can have the view of Cincy, the view of 3 bridges, Ohio river and the Serpentine wall. I found that the best time to walk on the bridge is a little before 8 am. The color of the water isn’t so brown and gives off some great reflections.

Oh, and don’t forget to bring an umbrella ☔️ ????

Was able to walk across this on Labor Day weekend to get to Heritage Center (formerly US BANK ARENA) from Newport on the Levee. Car traffic was open both ways but pedestrian traffic was only open on the west walkway.

Less interesting pedestrian walk to cross between Newport Kentucky and Cincinnati Ohio than the nearby Purple People Bridge, but it still offers nice views and connects interesting areas.
