Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant that’s my go to. Always have great service and food comes out quickly. We do a decent amount of to go orders too. Food stays warm for a bit.
I added pictures with their updated menus because their online menu doesn’t have half of the dishes they serve.
Wow wow wow... This place is amazing.
Don't come here for atmosphere or nice decor.. The place needs a serious modern uplift... But the food... Oh my!!

The establishment is easy to locate. When it comes to parking, it is a bit small but you’ll be able to find an open spot. The place is welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was lovely, the tacos were really good, but they could improve the corn tortillas, they would break easily. For drinks, the margaritas are pretty good. It is a nice spot to grab chill dinner. Overall, would come back 10/10.
Taxco is THE Atlanta staple in the Chastain/North Buckhead area. Me and my fiance eat here atleast once per 2 weeks. The salsa is wonderful, soft chicken tacos are my favorite, and ask for double rice, always. The service is always incredible. Make sure you get the jalapeños in the cheese dip too! Very mild.

It's been years since we have eaten here and it's just as good as we remembered. Ordered lunch combos, everything was delicious and very reasonable prices. The carnita meat was the best. Chips were a little too thick for my preference buy it was great for the taco shell. Husband enjoyed the chips though.
Definitely a smaller place in terms of size but my experience here was amazing! Staff was very friendly and it didn't take too long for food to come out for my group. Really enjoyed the bean dip and arroz con pollo, they were quite tasty. My group also loved the chicken fajitas and chimichangas. Quantity was great and food was a very reasonable price. Would definitely come again.
I'm from NM and picky about my Mexican food. This little restaurant delivered everything I wanted and more. Extensive food selection and many beers to choose from. This restaurant would be a hit in Albuquerque.
Like a previous review stated - this place doesn't have anything fancy about the service or atmosphere - but I personally love that about it.
We're "new regulars" - most recently got the carnitas dinner and shrimp enchilada. Portions were generous and food was out of this world. I would look no further for authentic Mexican.
