I had the breakfast pizza. It was good. A little more of the sausage gravy would have given it a boost of more flavor. It was big enough to share. My friend had the veggie omelet & that was very flavorful. Artesian type wheat bread was served with it & it was also good. Definitely like to try more menu items.
Exceptional. We love coming to this place and every time the service, the food, the drinks - all of it is on point. Really love the minute chicken and their old fashioned's are excellent. Ordered the bbq burger to change things up tonight and it was great.
Son had the sunrise burger which is his go-to when he doesn't feel like a kids steak. Really good and beautiful to look at it.
This is my second time here and it just keeps getting better !
Pals we got the Thai sweet cauliflower, home made tots, and Ellsworth cheese curds.
The Thai sweet cauliflower blew it out of the water ! About 6 florets deep fried and tossed in sauce garnished with some sea weed and sesame seeds and a side of yum yum sauce !
Cheese curds were pretty standard being next door to the cheese state.
The tots are actually homemade. My guess is they use their same shredded potatoes as the hash browns (hint hint chefs kiss of Smokey Gouda ** delish !!!) and served with bacon ketchup. Yes great pairing !
We got the minute chicken and both decided this will be our goto dish when we come here. You can’t really say more than. Phenomenal.
We also did the rotisserie chicken diner a great second choice since I’m sure the minute chicken will be sold out next time. The chicken as some mashed potatoes with some killer smoked rosemary flavor.
We also did a side of the Gouda hash browns because I’ve had them before and had to share them with my partner.
We also got the bread pudding for dessert with some carmel sauce. The pudding is warm and delicious, does have pecans.
Props to the staff ! Esp our server Theresa whose palate is spot on. She is super friendly and welcoming !
The sweet chili cauliflower is AMAZING!! Love the chilli sauce and the dipping sauce.
Was really impressed. We got the chicken pot pie and bang bang walleye tacos. All really good. The chicken pot pie was cozy comfort food and the bang bang walleye was filled with fish. Not like some restaurants where they skimp out ! We made a reservation and got seated right away
Second time where I tried the Korean street tacos. Pretty good the rice was coconut rice - and that was a yummy
Great service/atmosphere. We also enjoyed the monkey bread and my husband loved his chicken pot pie. I was a little disappointed in the rotisserie chicken sandwich. Although it was a great portion size, fresh and good...I think it was lacking more complex flavor. It needed sweetness, acid or spice... just something to take it to the next level and not so one note. Will definitely try this place again and probably get the pizza next time as it looked amazing!
Stellar restaurant! I arrived around 11am. Two staff members greeted me and made sure to ask which menu I wanted. I requested lunch menu and outdoor seating. I purposefully chose a little corner spot to evaluate frequency of check-ins.
The host got me water within a couple minutes and was knowledgeable about mocktails. I got good recommendations. My table server was observant, had just the right amount of check-ins, and was excellent at helping me visualize portion size and flavor profiles. They also pointed out the section on the menu because I had mentioned wanting to try the pizza. It's so fun that pizza and dessert is available this early!
Strawberry Lavender Cooler: great taste. Not too much lavender to overwhelm the ginger ale, lemon slice was fresh.
Sweet & Salty: Perfect pizza. Good chew on crust. Great texture of prosciutto without being too crispy or burnt. Tangy barbecue sauce was not overly sweet or excessive, toppings were evenly distributed, chopped chives were fresh.
My table server coursed my chocolate cake order to go because it comes with ice cream and thanks to that, got home before it melted! Great vanilla bean taste, nice and creamy. The frosting was almost too sweet but the ice cream compliments it. Nice chocolate sauce, VERY moist fluffy cake.
Exceptional food. In fact, it all surprised me. On the surface it looks like simple bar food place but the menu has more depth than that. I was pleasantly surprised.
The service was next level. It's really nice to go into a well run business.
Lastly it was comfortable and not too loud.
All around, this is a place worth going to.
Service was amazing. I didn't really like the burger, but I genuinely enjoyed the cheese curds
