Without a doubt, Tautog's Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable seafood dining experience in Virginia Beach. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a culinary adventure by the sea.
The food here was good. The spinach artichoke was very tasty. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was absolutely delicious. My daughter ordered the stuffed flounder in parchment paper and she didn't like it at all. Our server was wonderful attentive and knowledgeable. She didn't charge my daughter for her meal since she didn't eat it.
We love this local gem! Great beach vide with amazing seafood. This was a perfect spot for our 30 year anniversary date night! For starters we enjoyed the she crab soup with herb incrusted bread and the spinach and artichoke dip with warm chips. Our service was super helpful with the menu and checked on us the entire evening. We enjoyed a couple cocktails taking in the cozy atmosphere. For my main I had the special, tile fish covered in a sauce with potatoes and coleslaw. T had a Greek salad with blackened tuna. Finally we ended with the Keylime pie. Highly recommend this dinner spot for any occasion!
Our anniversary dinner at Tautog's Restaurant in Virginia Beach was simply unforgettable. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, setting the perfect tone for our special evening. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Salmon Skewers - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I also tried their signature puffed pastry creation, which was a delightful surprise. Beyond the delicious food, I admire how Tautog's Restaurant preserves its historic charm while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Great food and vibe. Terry was amazing and helped us order dishes and also the quantity. Amazing crab nachos and crab soup sherry. Loved also the sage trout fish so delicate and crisp. Unique key lime pie. Yummy. Highly recommended.
We love dining at Tautog’s. Food always prepared and presented excellently. Service is always friendly and attentive. My go to is Jack’s Rajun Shrimp over rice. He always gets fish-this time he chose Blackened tuna. Bread pudding for dessert.Delicious as always.????Highly recommend!
Great experience. Small little cozy restaurant. I had oysters and a beer. Only thing missing is a camp fire ????????
Food was wonderful and the server was very attentive and helpful. Everyone was welcoming and the place had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend
