Tasty goody is tasty and good. Food looks and tasted very fresh. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and orange chicken combo, and it all tasted great. Chow mein and fried rice were good and fresh. I ordered a chicken egg roll on the side, and it was packed full of meat and had a good crisp crunch to it. I will definitely be visiting Tasty Goody, it's some of the best fast Chinese food I've had in a long while.
This place has a lot of pros and cons the noodles and rice are good along with the orange chicken but wish they had more variety they never put anything new out. The quantity is a 10* they are not shy about how much food they give you here 2 people can eat one tray and the people are cool.
Customer service ? Not here . Rude and you can't hear them ir them hear you when ordering. Trying to get your order across is a but if a task and asking for salt n pepper shrimp always comes in a bag on the side. Not in box mixed but here the lady asked many times after I had originally asked for single item . So I gave in and said yes give me the slat n pepper shrimp ???? then she starts to take food out of my combo ? I'm like forget it . I don't want less food just a bad experience. She then asked if I want egg roll? How many ?so I say yes please 1 . Then she points to sign that says 2 for 2.00 I'm like ok I want 1 .. it was like she got mad because I didn't get 2 ... why ask customer how many when u want them to get what you want not what they want . All bad .. hard to communicate. Been going to Tasty Goody for years . Mostly in Upland and Montclair n this location by far was most difficult to get a correct order.
Been going to tasty goody for years. Both their restaurants taste the same which is awesome. Good portions but I recently got broccoli and beef here and I basically paid 9 dollars for broccoli. The beef is chewy and thin. I'm that's why I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars.
STAY AWAY!! This place will take pictures of u behind ur back. The lady has a portfolio of her customers. I found out she was showing my picture to my family that went to get their food. As if she does this to remember who tips and who doesn't tip. Idk why she would hold to pictures of customers to her personal phone. Who knows who's kids she could be taking pictures of. I would not bring my kids here. There is something weird going on at this place and would stay far away. Don't go here alone. Bad people. ALSO SEEN THEM GET and old customers food and put it back into the "fresh" food. Smh something weird going on there.
Delicious foods and large portions for a good price! Workers are friendly if you are :) Even if they were not I would still come here as it is THAT GOOD.
Recommendations: Sesame chicken (spicy and fragrant)
mongolian Beef (If you want a good portions of delicious beef)
Disclaimers:
The broccoli beef dish does not have a lot of beef in it! It does have good beef flavor that the broccoli soaks up. Some people would complain but it is still delicious! Good way to get some veggies in.
Just ok. I used to love this place but everybody is cutting costs. Prices keep going up. However, the quality is not the same. Not even close.The food tasted a bit stale and very average, especially if one comparison with what used to be. I used to enjoy their lo mein and egg rolls but I have to say what they served me today (and me and you, I was there at 11:55 am, during what's supposed to be the lunch rush). Well, the food did not look or taste like it was made today, especially the lo mein. I was pretty bummed out and sad at the same time. If I ever stop by this place I would stick with made-to-order food. Yes, it's much pricier, but then again it's the only food I could eat at this point in life! For some very good reason I'm beginning to hate those heat lamps with great abandon and passion.????????♂️????
It's good, however a 2 combo plate is $12, they charge $2 extra for pork so $15 for a 2 combo with bbq pork. Prices went up real quick! Most of their meats are chicken.
