The service was great, and the food was delicious. At this place you get all that you pay for, you get alot of food for your money.
I walked in last week and ordered for the first time, and the fish was PERFECT. Everything was fresh and the amount of food compared to what you are paying is 100% on the dime. I had the catfish nuggets and fries with the fried green tomatoes and peach cobbler. The fish was the best I’ve had in Indy since moving here a decade ago.
Hello, my first time on April 19, 2024. Taste This Fish delicious, so it's worth it . prices are reasonable I had fried mushrooms the last fried mushrooms I had was from Outback and they were greasy these are fresh crisp and juicy in the inside and fries I do not eat meat so today.I think I'm going to try some of their fish .worth the money delicious, and I appreciate the hospitality you can not find genuine hospitality anymore. However, I will be back shout OUT to taste this fish.
If you like fresh fish, this is not the place for you. I was told my order would take 7 minutes. Once I got home I understood why. I'm not sure if they fry it in advance and warm it up by refrying, if its prefried and left in the oven to sty warm or if its prefried and then nuked to make it warm, but it was nasty. Yuck! Just nasty, greasy and dry. The slaw, although edible was on its last leg and should have been dumped and started a new batch.
Stopped by when traveling through and am glad to have done so. Food here is outstanding. In fact, the best fried perch I have ever had -- completely blows other competitors out of the water! The batter was light, crunchy, and delicate. The fish -- moist, seasoned well, and buttery soft, with the right crisp and crunch. Absolutely fantastic.
Was looking for fresh fish other than a chicken & fish eatery and found them. This place is really a gem! Everything was fresh to the taste & fried to perfection. The guy that took our order had great customer service. The establishment was very clean as well. Food was priced very fairly. Parking was a little weird & I had to drive past the place several times before deciding where to park. But I most definitely recommend them & will be coming back.
Tasteless! I hate to say it! My fish was fried too hard. I love it fried hard, too. Luckily, I didn't ask for her to fry it hard. The menu is not up-to-date. She no longer carries a few of the menu items. Overall, the service was excellent. Don't let my review deter you from trying this place. Everybody's taste buds aren't the same.
We were visiting from Houston for work and came here on a review and maaaaannnnn it did not disappoint!
Delicious breading, fried but not greasy!!
