Best WLM Reviews

This Chinese restaurant is the best. I’m constantly searching for the perfect moo goo gai pan and I found it here at Taste of Sichuan. The place gets crowded at dinner time but service is fast and the staff are attentive. The food here is delicious and I can’t wait to try their other dishes. By the way their steamed rice is cooked perfectly as well.
7/16/23 Tried their lunch special, it was very good with generous portions and came with a soup when you eat in.
I love Taste of Sichuan! This was my second time trying it and my first time coming to eat in the restaurant. We were a large party of 9 but were seated immediately, AND it was super busy! I eat a lot of Sichuan cuisine as my family is from the Sichuan province, and it tasted very authentic. All the dishes were flavorful, delicious, and amazing. The portions are huge and priced really well. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in Beaverton :)
The only restaurant that I will not miss for my trips to Oregon. Is it really so good? Hmm, if comparing to ChengDu's, still gaps. However, over here, it still considered as great :) One of my places that I will have dinners with my colleagueas. This week, I came here 3 times. One of the visit, I brought my Mexican friend, he enjoyed, though he said spicy... haha, the only time that he came here not for Kung Pao Chicken.
I have been a loyal customer of Taste of Sichuan for five years, and I must say that their food is of exceptional quality in terms of taste and presentation. As someone who enjoys spicy food, I was absolutely amazed when I first tried their dishes with numbing peppers. It was a flavor explosion that left me speechless.
In my opinion, Taste of Sichuan is the best Chinese restaurant in Portland. Their extensive menu offers a wide variety of options, ensuring that there is something to satisfy every palate. From the flavorful Chongqing chicken to the tantalizing stir-fried chicken in hot sauce, every dish is a delight. The barbecue pork fried rice and hot noodles are also personal favorites of mine.
While the Covid pandemic did have a temporary impact on the taste of their food, I am pleased to say that Taste of Sichuan has made a remarkable comeback. They have managed to regain their exceptional flavors and have once again become a go-to spot for me. I have lost count of the number of times I have dined in or ordered from this restaurant, which is a testament to their consistently delicious offerings.
Food was delicious. They have a huge menu to choose from if u eat many types of meat. We liked the chicken & shrimp dish which we ordered & can't wait to visit again soon to try other dishes.
There’s a first time for everything. I spend a lot of time in the area and didn’t realize this place was even there. Thrilled with everything from the attentiveness, taste, speed of service all around.
I haven’t had MUCH Chinese food during my time in the PNW so it may be unfair for me to say this is ‘the best’ of anything. Regardless, it will come up in conversation when people are asking for great Chinese options nearby.
Highly recommend.
Brought my grandma here after seeing Shen Yun. I had the Swimming Fire Fish. It was very good! The bowl they brought was way bigger than I was expecting. The fish and tofu both had a really nice texture. My grandma got some shrimp, and was pleased. They serve a Jasmine tea that is delicious!
They were very busy, but they were well staffed and attentive. The waitress was friendly and patient.
Go to restaurant for comfort Chinese food! Their menu is organized with pictures and their staff is friendly and will do their best to describe any dish or recommend their favorites! Hands down their handshaven noodles are a must have, you won't regret it! Portions are generous and family style and will definitely fill you up. If I'm being nit-picky, the food could be slightly oily at times. Otherwise, this restaurant checks all boxes! Highly recommend for your Chinese food fix in the Beaverton area!
