This was my first time here and first time having Jamaican style food. I decided to go all out and get the curry goat/ox tail combo with a beef pastry and coco bread. It was amazing!!! The oxtail is slightly oily but in a good way slides off the bone. The goat was slightly gamey reminded me of lamb and little bit. The flavor combo and cabbage was delicious. The bread can be used as a sandwich or alone. I could have eaten it all but decided to take the rest home. You should eat here. So yummy. The owner is very friendly and cooks all the food himself. I’ll be back!!
I’ve gone to this place twice in the last week and the food has been consistently good. Great flavor and good portions. I’m sure I will be back. These pictures doesn’t do the food enough justice so go try it for yourself.
This is probably the worst Jamaican food I've ever had in my life.
I asked for oxtail with sides, and then Stewed chicken with sides.
They didn't have the french fries, they didn't have the macaroni and cheese.
I had to say to him ,
"well then what do you have?"
All they had was cabbage and rice so I had to get that for both meals
He told me it would be ready in 7 minutes.
It was ready in about 6, which was good. However, it was not stewed chicken.
It was some kind of hot curry , chicken that was pretty much just bones.
I paid $39 for the food, I gave him $40 Aunt if I didn't know any better.
I think he was expecting a tip by his reaction of me , Just giving him the money and leaving.
* Keep in mind this is around 6:00 p.m. on a Friday evening in April.

Mac and Cheese ???? forsure the best in the DMV that’s no lie . Jerk Chicken 10/10!!. The man was super friendly and nice. Overall great experience. Thank you ????
I order an oxtail and curry chicken plate but hardly get any meat this is robbery for the price I paid for this plate I’m utterly disappointed and will not be eating here again unless this is made right, plate looks like I paid for just rice ????????????????????????????????
The food here was amazing. I got the small Jerk chicken, and it was cooked perfectly, so we're the plantains. The atmosphere was very chill and the service was wonderful.
Taste of Jamaica has our hearts for sure! The curry chicken is my kiddos favorite (and she’s a picky eater) and of course I love all of the entrees especially the oxtail. Warm atmosphere.. great service.. the music is always a vibe!!! We will be back again this week! Haha Thanks so much G!
