Best WLM Reviews
If you are looking for the most authentic Yemeni place that serves the most amazing food, then this is your place. The service was top notch and everyone was so nice and welcoming. They gave us complementary drinks and pita to start with. They immediately brought our food and made sure all of us were given the same level of attention and care. The new management there knows what they are doing. Please do give this place a try and you will not regret it.
Gem of a Mediterranean find right near Indy downtown. The restaurant ambience is super casual but the food is out of the world.
We ordered 2 types of kebabs (minced meat) which came with a side of garlic sauce and flavored rice. The combos were stellar, meat tender and juicy, rice flavorful and soft.
Additionally we got the hummus (ground chickpea) with pita bread. I have tried a range of hummus and I must say this hummus was delicious and so hearty.
The spice levels suit every range of customer and the portions are sized for roughly 1.5 meals. I will be going back for both the food and such personalized customer service.
Taste of Dubai is a keeper!
The 5-star is for the food and staff. Food is authentic and soon good. Portions are perfect, and sharing is the best option to get to try many of the delicious options.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
We were a group of 3, and we ordered four appetizers and two main meals. It was more than enough.
The restaurant needs to be taken care of, and the restrooms need to be cleaned! This type of food might require using hands and washing hands is a must!
First time visitor. Food was well prepared. The hummus was especially tasty. All the food was very fresh and well prepared. I am not familiar with Middle Eastern food and the menu was well written with good descriptions and some background information on the culture. It wasn’t very busy so the food took a bit of time to come out, but well worth the wait. I recommend the saffron rice, lamb kebabs and chicken kebabs. Be patient with the wait staff, English may not be that strong. They are friendly and do their best. It was fun trying something new and different here in town.
Oh this place was ????????????. You can sit on the floor and order delicious middle eastern food. We had a couple of dishes (the Mendi Lamb and the Mixed Platter) and shared everything.
It's a little more expensive than the more common food types around here, but the experience is worth it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is different enough to feel authentic.
First time been here.
Its very quiet for dine in, but they make pretty good at take out i guess. tried the pompano fish, its really on point. Tried also grape leaves appetizer its very good. The server also do cashier, he"s very nice and Friendly and helpfull. Definately will come back.
I really hate to give Muslims bad reviews but as a black Muslims over the road truck driver it's very hard to always eat halal. When I do it's refreshing and I love to be in the atmosphere of other Muslims. I arrived today at 7:50 and immediately got the feeling that I wasn't welcome by the attendants face and the fact that the first thing he mentioned is that we close in an hour. Then proceed to give me 3 options of what I can order and tells me that there is no tea when you have a menu of about 10 different types of tea. When you don't look how they view Muslims the service and treatment is different. Going to try the Somalia spot now. If you understand what I mean save yourself the time and disappointment.
I don't like to post bad reviews for small businesses, I have visited this place multiple times and see repetitive behavior, I just want to give the owner a chance to see the feedback and rectify the shortcomings.
1. Please do not charge for water. You need to be hospitable, it is very shameful that you are not giving the option to the customers and forcing them to buy a bottle of water for $1 that you bought for 4 cents from Costco, your business is food so focus on that.
2. Quantity and quality are not consistent with other Middle Eastern restaurants
3. Guy at the front who does everything needs to be more presentable and friendly, rude to brown customers.
