My first time in could not have been better. Great food, incredibly fresh, a perfect club sandwich. Nice selection of wines, too. The chard on tap was a very easy drink. The regulars next to me were pleasant and welcoming.
All in all, I will definitely be back and bring others! Thank you!
I had driven by and it looks so cute! Just hadn't been able to pop in until now.
They have gift bags and baskets already done up. There's grab and go items, wines , drinks, snacks, etc....you can eat inside outside upstairs. There's a lot to unpack under one roof.

Not only does Taste Sandwiches serve up an incredible Beach Club sandwich, but the atmosphere adds to the overall enjoyment. The cozy yet vibrant ambiance makes it a welcoming spot to grab a quick bite or relax with friends. With friendly staff and a laid-back vibe, it's the perfect place to indulge in their delicious creations while soaking in the inviting atmosphere. A delightful combination of great food and a comfortable setting!
I would have given this place 5 stars but am holding out on hope that they’d serve coffee concoctions like their Norfolk location. This place has ample parking, staff to take orders, lots of outdoor picnic table seating. Inside they have refrigerated displays for to go food like soups, brownies, quiches. They have wines, cheese, etc. They have a whole length of display of different flavored chips and everything you can order at the counter:sandwiches, salads, sides.
The food is really great and the staff is really nice and helpful. The atmosphere is really good. There is a lot chose from.
Taste Unlimited has been an icon in tidewater as far back as I can remember. when you order your always going to get the best sandwich possible the freshest breads and excellent ingredients are the standard. now with online ordering get your meal is so easy. plus there are many locations throughout the tidewater area finding on is a snap.
Taste is a convenient pit stop off the road with yummy sandwiches and a unique building that feels barn-inspired. There is a ton of outdoor seating, but It was a bit smelly outside so we ate on the second floor which gave us a good view of all the beer, wine and snacks for sale.
The sandwiches were delicious ( we had the Virginian and chicken salad), thought they were a bit on the pricey side. Would highly recommend stopping in for lunch!
Sandwich and Soup Perfection!!! I used to work in Downtown Norfolk and I loved going to Taste for lunch. Now that I am back in Hampton Roads after living in New York for13 years, me and my favorite sandwich place have been reunited. Oh how I love the fresh breads and ingredients. All the fun snacks and the TASTE. Can’t beat this place. So glad to be back. Yum!
