since i was a kids my family, friends, even strangers used to pick on me because i "didn't clean the bone" ........ well let's just say today i learned......... it wasn't me. it was them ???? so glad i found this place. best mac n cheese i ever bought from any place. turkey wings bone apple tea !!! or whatever they say in France . im trying everything they got on the menu. stay tuned lol

Everything had lots of flavor. The cornbread is not jiffy but old skool grandma cornbread. The yams tasted like sweet potato pie the oxtails were very meaty and came with complimentary rice. The Mac n cheese wasn’t bland but wasn’t that good. Seemed as if it had to much sour cream. Definitely recommend this place but I would call it in. The wait after placing my order was about 20 minutes. They do not have a steam table and I’m not sure how they are plating the food and keeping it warm in the back. Your plate is fixed in the back and brought to the cashier.

Love the food from here. I mostly get the same plate every time I go, the salmon over yellow rice with double yams. I need to be getting a green vegetable, but the yams are just that good.

It's consistency with the taste reminds me of Chick-fil-A. Every time I eat here, the food is exactly what I'm expecting.

The food portion is perfect as well. You gone be full for sure.

Hard to find due to lack of top sign but it is right next to the work out place. Glad i took a closer look! Very neat shop, love the decor and small business feel. Ordered the Whiting with okra and collards. Most meals cost $11.99, an outstanding price for fresh cooked food.

When I tell you this food was to die for omg. They give you a lot of food for a reasonable amount of money. They have so many sides your going to have to try more than the 2 it comes with. But what really had my lips on the floor was the fish and grits meal. Good lord my Jesus that was everything. Everyone can't cook grits however they can. Creamy and smooth. Well season and the fish wasn't no little Piece of fish. It was 2 nice size pieces. Most definitely going back. Also Tre was everything. Very helpful ,very friendly so patient with me. Even told me how to order my meal so I wouldn't be spending so much money.

I found it kind of weird that NONE of the staff were wearing face mask, but were adamant about the customers wearing theirs. Nonetheless, the service was good, it's black owned. The food was decent, a little more pricey for the same thing I order elsewhere. I haven't been back since, but I would recommend this place to anyone that likes soul food. They also have an extensive food menu, that's a plus. There was a wait time of about 15 minutes or so, so I suggest you call and order ahead of time. I believe you can order through one of the food delivery apps and pick it up.

Hands down the best soul food I’ve ever tasted. Might be a little better than my grandma and she’s the best at cooking… you won’t be disappointed… the greens, Mac and cheese and fried okra are a must!

I ordered though Ubereats paid about $19 and some change. I order baked chicken over rice with macaroni and cheese and collard greens with a slice of cornbread. The food was good itself for the cornbread was dry and cold I added some butter and honey to mask the taste.
