I participate in TARTA'S Para-transit service, known as TARPS. I don't drive and have been using TARPS for 3 years. I've enjoyed my "trips" to and from doctors appointments. That's what I use TARPS for mostly. But I have also used them, on the weekends for Zoo trips, Mudhen games, as well as movies and such. I've come to recognize drivers and such. I definitely recommend TARPS. Regardless of your disability or trouble. You will find friendly, respectful drivers.
I definitely recommend Tarps the drivers are very friendly and helpful, the busses are clean. I have had nothing but good experiences since I been taking tarps.
The drivers are extremely well trained and kind. The buses are always spotless. I would give 5 stars if I didn't have to wait 24 hours for a ride, but I get it.
Waited for my bus to go to the bank it came 20 minutes passed my window and did not get me to the bank till my pickup time. Then had to wait 2/12 hrs for a ride home and didn’t get home till 500pm. My pick up time was 12:30 pm from home. Then you had the to charge me the full fare for the ride from hell,which was the fault of your driver. He was behind and stopped on Reynolds rd just before a construction zone and waited while the lady did her business in check cashing store. I was sitting on your bus when they called to let me know that they were coming to get me from the bank.
It's a good thing for Toledo and I'm glad the buses are starting to get back to somewhat of a normal schedule and as far as their directory goes when you call the members of their team that you speak with down there are very professional and helpful as well.
They provide a great service to the community. Just remember at times when the weather is bad they can run a little slower than what is scheduled. Also during rush hour they can also be a little behind. But that is a given. Because Rush Hour is rush hour there are a lot of vehicles on the road.
I had a appointment at tarps, and the bus ride going, and coming it was wonderful. The people was very friendly I felt like I was talking with friends. I totally enjoyed my experience.
Tarta Guarantee We Treat You Like Raodkill. I hope that public transportation in other Cities are much better. Majority of drivers are angry, treat elderly and handicapped horribly. Every one I've spoken with has confirmed this statement.
