Best WLM Reviews
Another disappointing Target run! Target you need to do better! This was my first time visiting this location. As stated by a previous reviewer, Don't visit this store if you are a Brown person, the treatment will not be favorable. If you know, you know....!
I love Target, but this location is super small and doesn’t carry many stuff. Decor is very minimal for a department store, they offer some lamps and pillows.
They have a supermarket downstairs. I didn’t see any clothing either.
I’ve shopped here for years. It’s small, but always had a fairly good inventory and good prices (for NYC). On my latest trip today, I found even more items locked up behind glass than ever before…I would say at least a third of all items. That’s annoying enough, but unlike CVS there is no way to notify employees that you need a cabinet unlocked. You have to wander around to find someone and the store seems a little understaffed. They recently installed even more self-checkouts and the staff seems confused and/or indignant when you try to check out at the regular counter. One employee had no idea how to bag groceries and seemed like he was expecting me to do it.
I'd like to speak to the store manager about so called "store policy" regarding touching/carrying locked products to the register. Normally I love shopping at this store, but I had not one but two incidents at the store today that I really wanted to address. I don't normally call out stuff like this, but it was pretty obvious today that something was wrong. I asked to see an electric toothbrush that is locked in the case. The first store rep that I asked made me walk all the way over to the case to show her. Then told me that she couldn't help me because she didn't have a key. Then why walk over there if you don't have a key?
The second store rep that shows up opens the case. I ask to see what model it is and she tells me that I can't touch the box because of COVID restrictions. I' wearing a mask and not coughing or anything but I can't even touch it to make sure that it's the right model. The store rep can't find the model # because she doesn't know where to look for it. I decide to purchase it anyway and she tells me she has to take it up to the register and I can pick it up there. Store policy, right? Ok. But wait, there's more. I decide to not buy it just then and do a little test. My wife goes back about 30 minutes later and asks for the same item. She is allowed to not only touch the box, but she can also walk from the downstairs to the upstairs registers with it in hand. If this sounds strange, let's clarify, I'm black, my wife is white. I'm wondering which is the true store policy, because I have had to do the "pickup at register" many times before.
Also, check the website for your purchases before you go because there can be a $5 difference for items that you pick up in store versus purchasing in store. I noticed this on two dental waterpiks that I was interested in and they were unwilling to change the price.
Why are they always out of milk? Monday afternoon, Wednesday night, Sunday night, it doesn't matter. Out of every milk except for chocolate, soy, the Lactaid or the 1/2 gallon organic. Makes the shopping so difficult.
Have picked up a few items from this store (lamp, mirror, etc.) and each item has been damaged. I then go through a lengthy process of returning the item because there are no options available in store. This Target is in desperate need of quality controls
This Target has Boar's Head pickles and Boar's Head pickles are yum-a-licious! Great low carb snack and the pickle juice is so good i like to take sips from the jar.
Negative is they are firing staff and making paying customers use self check out.
5 stars for the pickles.
0 stars for self check out.
What's next? Customers will be required to stack the shelves?
This Target is so funny. I work next to it for three years now as a personal assistant, and every time for three years when I stop in to grab something, they don’t have it. They choose to stock the weirdest things and nothing practical. For example, an entire aisle for pet supplies but they don’t carry dog poop bags. Another example, today is October 28 and they don’t even carry any Halloween makeup. There are always dozens of employees staffed all at the same time and doing nothing. It’s wild here and always such a waste of time. They won’t have what you want.
The store is open and have more things than I expected. They have two floors, street level and basement, which has fresh fruits and vegetables looking surprisingly good. Definitely coming back.
