We have been coming here for a long time and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere…tonight I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie…I ate about 3 bites and didn’t find any meat…then after searching through it…there was very little to none…the owner/manager told me since I “ate” it which I did not…there was nothing she could do…I wasn’t looking for a free meal…just an apology…it’s a shame because we enjoy coming here and I felt like I was treated like a POS????????????
First time there and enjoyed lunch! Our waiter Pete was very attentive and even helped me with which dish to choose as I was torn between a pasta or flatbread entree. He highly recommended the pasta. Great lunch special options to choose from! And the music (mostly Beatles) made the atmosphere enjoyable!
Tarantella’s is a good quality Italian restaurant with a wide array of selections. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and side house salad. The chicken parm tasted very good and the house salad had a nice unique kick to it with the peppers. The food excellent, service was great, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. What more could you ask for? I’d definitely recommend dining at Tarantella’s.
Been coming here for years! One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Fantastic pizza , salads , and apps. Their house salad dressing is the stuff of legend. Highly recommended!
Ordered gluten free gnocchi and mixed in was regular spaghetti AND linguini. How does that even happen? This place used to be very conscious about gluten free diners, very disappointing that it’s no longer safe to eat here for celiacs.
Excellent food, especially Chicken Balsamico. Always get the large portion so you have left-overs for lunch the next day. The service is always good as well... also good clean bathrooms
I've lived here for 18 years and this is probably my fourth time coming back. Every time the food is somewhere between meh and bad.
I mean everyone was friendly and the prices are decent, but the food, just not enjoyable at all. Pasta, chicken Parm, even the iced tea tasted weird.
I'm sad I went there last night, wish I had just grabbed a burger at the nearby bar. But was craving Italian and decided to try it "one more time"
Haven't been here since I was a kid, but was pleasantly surprised that they are still around after the pandemic. They seem to have renovated recently and it looks really nice inside! On a Friday night it was hopping and felt a bit crowded. But otherwise everything was great! The service we had was excellent!! Food was really good as well, what you would expect for a typical Italian restaurant in NJ though. Glad that they still had the fruit sorbet on the dessert menu!
