I'm hesitant to rate them on one visit but what I ordered was one of their more expensive items on the menu. At $18 for a burrito you'd think it would be pretty darn good. It was unfortunately bland. I've had the same burrito at a couple of other local establishments and both were about very good, two to three times better. And who puts fries with a burrito!
This is a casual dining place. Inside is nicer than the outside would imply and there's a decent patio to enjoy.
The food was decent. The menu is enormous and it was really hard to choose. We ended up ordering a la carte which seemed to match our appetites. Prices quite vary and there were some pricey options that sounded interesting. It would be cool to try some of the more unique items.
The service was good.
A tasty local Mexican restaurant that was only a few minutes outside of town! The outside of the building was deceptive as it appeared to be an old Long John Silvers, but the inside was welcoming and well decorated! The service was excellent, and the portions were large! We ordered a side of queso to go with the chips and salsa. For our main meals l, I had the tacos de carne asada, and my sister had the queso barrio tacos. Everything was so flavorful and very filling! Overall a great dining experience.
This place has amazing food, margaritas and the service is 2nd to none. They are very attentive and so quick to refill chips, drinks or whatever else you need. Get some today. Our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere around. Cheers
Fantastic food. Huge portions. Great people! I only wish they could make the drinks (cantarito) in non-alcoholic versions. Even so, seriously, so good!
I can’t even explain how horrible this was. We waited 1.5 hours for our food, had to get our own silverware because they refused to bring us any no matter how many times we asked, and when my friend tried flagging our waiter down, he looked at her and turned around and walked away. THEN he called me stupid. No one ever checked on us. Multiple tables were seated, ate, and left before we got our food, including a table of 10. The owner just kept saying he was back in the kitchen all night. No one took accountability or seemed apologetic. The food was good, but not worth the service or experience.
The food was good. There was a good lunch menu. Great service. The hot and spicy burrito could use some more heat.
Excellent family style small restaurant with great food and speedy service just outside the main drag! Unassuming exterior may let you (dis)miss it - don’t! From exquisite homemade chips and salsa to tacos to pico to quesadillas in the nicest small restaurant atmosphere where YOU get paid attention to…I wish they were in my home town!
