Get the Molcajete - it is amazing!
Also, allow plenty of time for it. It took over 40 minutes for us to get our food, probably because of the molcajete and how complicated it is.
The quesadillas were good, too.
Service is fast and food is tasty, good selection of Mexican seafood, like shrimp cocktail, fried fish and traditional cuisine, like chile relleno, tacos, molcajetes, etc.
One of the best places i have ever ate at. They never disappoint, even when they mess up its still delicious. Though today they went above and beyond. I will always go back for my Torta ala Cubana and their Burritos de Asada.
I went in this evening for dinner. I ordered the tacos gobenador. It is grilled white fish & shrimp along with cheese, onion & cilantro in 2 corn tortillas. They were served with beans, rice & a small salad with avocado slices & ranch dressing. For food was excellent! It all came out super hot & fresh! The waitress was attentive & very helpful. If you are traveling on the way to Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks or happen to be out in the area, this place is definitely worth your time! The chips were also excellent. Good corn taste & not greasy at all. The salsa was ok. It has some kick. It was a little too watery for me. I will definitely stop in here again!
This place has the best Tortas ever!! There other food is so great. I recommend the Carne Asada plate ????
I got to try this place per recommendation from someone I know and of al the pictures they posted about them. All the times I drove by this street and I never noticed it was even there and if you drive by just like me your likely to miss it as well.
The parking lot isn’t very big and it seems to be very packed but I did happen o come by on a Saturday morning The place from the outside looks small and kind of run down, but once you step its totally the opposite. If you want to sit down and enjoy any of their meals your to be able to find a table if not taking it togo is a great option which is what I did.
I ordered a Carne Asada Torta because thats what y buddy usually has. I took it home with me, which is about a 15 minute drive and it was still warm when I got there. Everything looks fresh before biting into it and once you do everything you see is confirmed! The Torta has lots of flavor and everything you want from a authentic standpoint. I saw quite a few people having their weekend Menudo and I was tempted to try some myself. But hey i’ll save that for next time.
So if you stop by your sure to not be disappointed! Give them a shot!
I haven't had Mexican food like this in awhile so I had issues with my stomach. But if your use to authentic Mexican this place is a good choice. I had the Chile Verde burrito. I enjoyed it. The food is spicy!
My family and I drive 40 minutes to go to this place. The molcajete is really good. I also like the shrimp and cheese tacos. Wait time is kind of long, depending when you go. Service is okay.
