Happened to be in the area and stopped on a whim for a quick dinner. Had three carnitas tacos that were excellent. Friendly lady running the place was helpful and had my food out within five minutes or so.
Decor/atmosphere was nothing special and the bathroom was meh. But honestly, I don't care. I didn't go for decorating ideas, I went for tacos and was very pleased with those tacos!
Came and ordered tacos because online and on their menu it said they were $3.60. I asked the lady at the register four times before she swiped my card. How much the total was she acted like she didn’t hear what I said as she looked me in my face and swiped my card anyway. Turns out the tacos were $4.75 each. I don’t have a problem with the price so the transparency. She knew what she was doing and was very rude telling me she already swiped the card after I asked her four times to make sure the price was OK with me the customer. Definitely will never be coming back here again. And the wait was over 45 minutes. $20.75 for four tacos is Crazy to me where I’m from you can get them for cheaper and they taste way better.
Food was cold and gross. Messed up order twice. Service was not good. My boyfriend was trying to ask what was on something and she just wrote down that's what he wanted. Overcharged. Will never be going here again.
Was charged and given the wrong food. When I called to let them know they said it was due to the menus being different from online to what they consider their menu. They won’t fix the prices or menu online. They promised me replacement meal but now are refusing to give my replacement meal. I spent $30 to receive the wrong food and they won’t make it right.
Great charming little place. Food was fantastic and prices were very reasonable.
Great food and good folks running it. Needs a lil improvements on a menu board and serve beer. But the good food makes up for it. Good investment opportunity for somebody around here.
This spot is popular with my Mexican friends, so I had rather elevated expectations.
I was disappointed.
None of the food stood out as "good," even. The best I can say about it is that it was mediocre.
While that's disappointing enough on its own, the prices are WAY higher than I expected.
I went in at the slow time, and, during the time I waited for my food, I was able to clean* the whole dining room (*my background is in hospitality, and there were only two employees in the shop. I could hear at least two children, one quite young in back, so I volunteered to bus the tables and such to give them a hand. Simple kindness, right?).
It was quite a long time to get my food, and I was the only order they had - it's just a bummer, you know?
Food was okay, not horrible. Service was really bad. The server barely came to the table. It's a family owned establishment, so that was nice though. I'd give them another shot. I never judge a place completely on just the one experience. This is just my rating for this one visit.
