Best WLM Reviews
Authentic, delicious, clean, excellent service, a great atmosphere! What more could you ask for? We've driven by this restaurant many times, and decided to stop in today for a nice sit down meal. We were delighted with our experience. My husband got the steak and eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection. I got the cheese enchiladas. They were so good! We will definitely be coming back!
We stopped for lunch on a Monday. The parking lot was fairly full so we thought the food would be okay. When we walked in though, the smell was very bad, like sewage. Should have taken that as our cue to leave, but we sat down and got chips and salsa and a horchata, which were fine. I ordered chicken enchiladas and my husband ordered a smothered asada burrito. Our plates arrived from the kitchen in just a couple of minutes. My rice was crunchy, like it was stale or had been reheated, and the tortillas were stale tasting also. I asked my husband how his was and he said meh and gave me a bite, and his burrito had a weird taste and the piece of meat I got was all gristle. We asked for the check after just taking a bite or two each, and the waitress asked what was wrong. We explained what we thought of the food and I also told her that the restaurant smelled bad. She apologized, but she said that everyone always loves their food and never offered to take the charges for the meals we didn’t eat off our bill. We always try to support small businesses when we are in smaller towns but in this case we ended up eating our lunch at Subway instead.
Resteraunt smelled like rotten fart. There was trash all over the floor. The only reason we stayed is because we were traveling, it was late and all the mexican resteraunts were closed. Big mistake! Rice taste old and stale, and the beans were runny and taste like pig fat. The waitress was nice but service was poor. She was eating the whole time we were there. the only thing that was decent was the chips and salsa.
Love to eat here! The food is great and the staff is friendly and quick. The dining room is a bit open for my taste but otherwise it's a good time, everytime. The prices are excellent too!
We were seated right away and our food came out pretty quickly. Everything tasted good and the waitress was really nice. It was a little cluttered in areas which took away from any ambiance, but other than that very pleasant.
I've eaten a lot of food in this restaurant over the years. This is largely been a result of the lack of choice that exist in the Arkansas Valley. The food here taste okay, but it really lacks pizzazz and fresh vegetables. At the end of the day, it's decidedly unhealthy.
The Karen's leaving bad reviews are clueless. This place has top tier food with great presentation and atmosphere. Been to a lot of Mexican food places over the years in different states and in actual Mexico. Really glad we stopped here while on a trip to the area. Would definitely come again next time I'm in the area. This place is an oasis!
Honest opinion Do not go here!
It was pretty much our last option since it was our first time in la junta, we dont know the town, a lot of places were closed, and we were already late to what we had to do.
You walk in there and it smells like you just walked into a public bathroom.
Waitress tried the very least to interact with us.
Food was flavorless, water tasted like it sat in a plastic container for days, portions are very little for the price and one of my kids got sick from the flautas.
The only thing I can say was good was the salsa for the chips.
And its not being a Karen its being honest.
