The rumor is true. After I checked my credit card transaction on my phone I saw my 44 dollar order became 49.40 so I asked for a receipt. It shows a 3% unknown transaction fee (even the guy there couldn’t explain to me why lol), then 6% tax, then another 3% fee for credit card. I then checked my previous transaction from 2 weeks ago on my statement and it was much more shocking. We ordered 9 tacos and 2 sodas and we were told the total was 33 dollars (9x$3+2x$3), so we paid without asking for a receipt. The price on our credit card turned out to be over 40 dollars! Even using the logic on the receipt we just got, the math still doesn’t add up to extra 7.xx dollars. I’m not going to argue with them to get my money back but for sure I will not go back again due to their dishonesty. If they really need money this bad, just raise the price and be upfront about it. Customers just don’t like the fact being lied to.
Well we normally get steak tacos, which are ok. Light on the steak, which is sometimes overcooked, but ok. today, I decided to try a steak burrito, and was severely disappointed. It seems Los Primos saves all the grizzle and fat from the steak to fill their "steak" burritos. I have included a picture of the meat from half of my steak burrito, and it was 95% fat and drizzle and inedible. What a rip off! It’s one thing, if food isn’t prepared well, but this was obviously intentional because the entire burrito was filled with grizzle and fat. That doesn’t happen on accident.
For the record, I dissected the second half of the burrito and it was the same thing.
This place is great!!! The woman at the counter was very patient with me as I tried to figure out what would travel well enough for the 20-30 min drive I had to get home. I landed on the sopes, which were absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend coming here. The only stipulation with that is that if you're vegan, there's not a whole lot of options for you. They have veggie options, but not vegan.
The food is always freshly made, shrimp cooked to perfection, cleaned and well seasoned. Definitely my family's go to taco truck. I never get the chance to take a pic because we eat it too fast ????
Muy bein! We got tacos ???? and Quesrilla (fried quesadilla). Each were $13. Super filling. Will return! Nice to sit outside on a sunny day.
Food here is super greasy but not bad. Be careful though, they do not give receipts and over charge people thinking they will not notice! Check your bank statements after ordering if you do not want to be scammed. After calling them they made it a hassle to get my money back and they told me I had to get my refund in cash despite the fact I paid credit. There was no apology for over charging and they looked disgusted at me for asking the extra charges be refunded. Not the most honest business so be careful here.
Laura is 1 of the best waiter. Her service was incredible. Especially the birria tacos are so good.
Food was amazing, got the Chorizo Torta and Beef Tacos and they both were very good. The beef had a lot of fat which is kinda normal for the cut of meat being used but was super easy to take out and still had plenty of meat. The Torta was packed and flavorful and I love the sauces that come with as well as the radish and lime. The horchata though, let me say is one of if not the best i’ve had in a while. Thanks for the great food!
