Best WLM Reviews
I support local dining but for this particular place I don't support nor recommend. The servent was not in a working mood. Then there's the 15% SERVICE CHARGE automatically added. The food was not that great. I suggest go elsewhere. This food establishment is nearing its end, sad to say.
I only added a star because I had too.
So, I ordered a torta, and instead of getting a taste of Mexico, I got a taste of elementary school. Picture this: a sandwich that looked like it was lovingly packed by a soccer mom in her kitchen. I mean, where was the mariachi band when I needed them? But wait, there's more! They charged me for lettuce! Seriously, folks, lettuce in a torta is like having wheels on a tortoise - it's just basic!
Now, this sandwich, my friends, looked more American than the Statue of Liberty eating a hot dog at a baseball game. It was lacking that Mexican zest and authenticity I was craving. And here's the kicker - I tried to get a refund, but it was like trying to catch a greased pig at a county fair. Slippery and frustrating!
In the world of cuisine, when you pay for a fiesta, you should get a fiesta! But this was more like a siesta. Taqueria Fierro, you've left me with a torta-tally disappointing experience. Let's taco 'bout improving those offerings and getting those refunds salsa-dly resolved for all us hungry customers. ÁNDALE!
This was my first and last experience. My friends and I were in the mood to have tacos, one of my friends recommended this place since they make 30 tacos for $30 dollars plus tax. I said sure why not you know it’s a place where it’s in your hometown. We ordered chicken, carnitas and al postre meats in the tacos. The chicken seasoning was spicy due to the fact that they added a lot of black pepper and plus the meat was dry. After eating the other tacos, we ended up having a stomachache. It felt like the meats were sitting out too long, it wasn’t fresh. I will not be coming back here again and I hope whoever is in charge of looking at these reviews along with others that there will be changes made.
I highly recommend the tacos al pastor. They were excellent. I think that's the only thing I liked there everything else was not that good. Kids meal was just a shame the lengua was okay but I have never seen being cut like that before, usually is in little pieces but it had flavor and was soft. I would definitely go back but for the tacos al pastor.
I found myself in Passaic for the first time, and desperately needed some food. Los Gueros is a small local taqueria chain (I usually avoid chains but this has only something like 8 locations so gave it a go) Sure I’ve had better tacos. But I’ve also had MANY worse tacos. The pastor with the spicy red salsa (the perfect amount of kick to this salsa) were exactly what I wanted along with some Agua de Jamaica. I’d like to explore other places if I ever find myself back in Passaic, but would gladly come here again.
Tripped over this taqueria while visiting Passaic, and I must say is pretty good. Taco Tuesday particularly is the best time to visit. Prices are good, outstanding food and service.
This place is not standing out from outside in order to be noticeable for the passerby’s attentions.
It is constructed as low cost eatery as one enters the restaurant; paint jobs needed on walls, etc. Minus one star.
Waitresses are friendly although they lack of fluency in English… Spanish speaking most of them.
Menu given to you is in a 5’-8’ color printed paper hot plastic coated but separated. In contrast menu needs to be redone.
Menu items are better set up than the menu book itself. Prices are attracting.
Wait time for our 4 tacos and bowl of burritos was around 15 minutes on that quiet night which was OK.
We were a quad-connected trays of hot sauces though not chips! They sat on table throughout the entire waiting time. Why serve that without anything to eat it with? A good question.
Our Corona was relatively cheap comparing the similar restaurant late night around it.
Food was great surprisingly. Tasty and one wouldn’t leave anything behind at the end of the meal.
Checks were brought in with a wifi pay machine and machine were left at the table for us to complete our own transaction. :))
I see some serious lack of waiting staff training there. That took a star off..
In overall, my experience is a satisfying at the end of the night.
I recommend to those who are seeking a safe late night restaurant which doesn’t look like a Spanish bar, have nice food and leave happy.
On the photos, it show a stark buriito bowl and tacos with condiments that sat all night on our table.
The food is generally good, but my issue is with the girl that takes the orders at this establishment. She always has an attitude like she can’t be bothered to take an order.
