Very nice restaurant. You walk in and can sit wherever you like. Menu consist of various authentic Mexican dishes. We ordered a burrito de Al Pastor. Great tasting burrito and big portion. I also ordered 2 tacos de suadero which were amazing. The meat very flavorful and tender. We also got a sope de chorizo, it was a bit sloppy but great taste. The drink size are smaller. I ordered a large drink and had to re-order another drink because it wasn’t enough. Overall I would definitely visit again.
The food was delicious! I ordered carne asada a la tampiqueña. They give a good amount of meat. Enough for 2 people.
I really don't get the reviews for this place..
We ordered 2 tacos al pastor and a milanesa torta.. Not great, or good taste at all.. The milenesa was dry like beef jerky and the pastor tacos were 70% fat.. Horrible.. This is the Pic of 1 of the tacos left over fat.. Pure fat!!
To be in a small space does not mean to have small flavor in food. I tasted the tacos during the pandemic health global issue. The taste, flavor and stuff, just captivated my attention because is one of the closest flavor I remember from Mexico. Condiments are exactly right and we’ll prepared. The menu also include other delightful dishes.
When dine-in, The service is made by several ladies who bring a pretty good service and attention. There are Few places where the waitresses smile when taking your order. Fast served and well prepared with an extraordinary flavor. This place deserves a high preference when it comes to tacos in this area. Totally and absolutely well recommended.
I arrived in Chicago for work in early September of 2018 and came here on my second day there. Since that time, I have routinely visited this location once a week for the past four months. The personnel is friendly, the facility is spotless, and the food is all excellent. I'm so glad I found this place and would highly recommend giving it a try.
definitely coming back, the tortas were AMAZING. we got 3 tortas, 2 tacos, a side of beans and a side of rice for $40. the portions are amazing for the price. and the staff was so sweet!
I was staying in the area for the weekend and found this little place. The food was amazing, the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. One vegetarian in the group tried the soya pollo taco and loved it. The guacamole, chicken quesadilla, picadillo taco, and gordita were all delicious! If I’m ever in the area again, it will definitely be a stop on the list!
The setting is ok, but the food was outstanding. The steak tacos and chicken quesadillas are to die for. I give this restaurant 5 stars and highly suggest it. You can also order meals to go, but whether you eat there or not depends on your preference.
