I was craving menudo and I wanted to try a different place from my usual. I got a large bowl of menudo and the spices are just right but my only issue with it was it had more hominy than tripe. My partner got the shredded beef plate and it didn't look much but the flavor was delicious! The service could be better so hopefully that will change in the future
Great gem
We have gone twice and loved it both times. Usually we get torta but today I got a plate. The salsa was delicious!!! Red is sweet, green has heat but the one in the yellow bottle is hot! All three have great flavor. There are plenty of tables. Today I had shredded beef with beans and rice with corn tortillas (although you can get flour). I will get this again! Perfect and delicious!
They serve a taste Torta "Kansas".

Best REAL Mexican food. Hole in the wall that puts everyone else to shame.
The food is always mouth watering. Places like this last forever because they are the best. It feels like eating at my Tia Julia's in Mexico. The chilaquiles have a special place in my heart. My son loves his barbacoa plate and that rice!! I always add the gordita de chicharron en chile verde to go.

Had Huevos a la Mexicana with frijoles rewrites and potatoes. The beans were a bit more liquid than I expected but were very tasty. Nice serving size, not huge. Got a chance to use some of the small amount of Spanish that I know.
