Taqueria la Plaza just catered my birthday party and it was a smash! They had all the food ready to go right on time. It came piping hot, and was most importantly of all, delicious. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and really nice people behind the counter. They are family-owned and I highly recommend this cute, tucked away place, for any meal - including BREAKFAST! Or to cater your next event! 10/10
Today I found a new place for tacos. I got two crispy chicken tacos and one crispy fish tacos. I got the order to go, and it came with tortilla chips. What I really liked is that they added three different salsas to my bag, which were delightful. Check out my photos, as each taco came out perfect. I'm coming back here next week and bringing coworkers.
Cubana Torta and Taco were delicious. The service was outstanding. Waited less than 10 min. Outside, tables are available. Parking is available and it is free.
I had a super burrito that was very tasty but as a former restaurant manger, I seriously doubt it was at the State Health Department mandate for serving temperature.
Other than being like warm it was tasty as I had hoped.
Taqueria La Plaza is next to Chase in Palos Verdes Mall now. We had never eaten at their Concord locale. We have had two different "To-Go" dinners, both were delicious. The menu is very seafood oriented in a good way. Our first order was the Spicy Prawn Plate and Prawn Fajita Plate, and our second was a burrito bowl with grilled chicken and the cheese enchilada plate with a fish taco side. The fish taco was sea bass, thankfully. So, they are using quality seafood and the produce is fresh. My biggest surprise was the green salsa was cool and refreshing with a hint of cilantro and avocado. It was almost palate cleansing, and NOT spicy at all. If there is tomatillo, it is very little to nil. Both of the red Salsa were spot on. My husband didn't like the cheese in his black beans, I loved it. My one bone of contention, which frankly saved me the calories, was that the chips are not homemade. They are mediocre at best, which I am actually grateful to them for since I didn't want to eat them. I just ate everything else. Even repurposed the next morning into eggs making breakfast burrito. Super Yummy! Well priced, The patio is a plus, inside has next to no ambiance thanks to COVID. Taqueria La Plaza is a DO OVER and should be on your list of places to eat.
I love this restaurant so much for their exemplary service and attention to detail. The al pastor tacos are always perfect, they have amazing breakfast burritos, and when it's poppin' there is always the outdoor seating area if the inside is packed. So grateful to have La Plaza in the neighborhood. I'm lucky I can always swing by for a taco plate when I'm really hungry! Don't forget the pickled carrot and jalepeño, and lots of fresh pico de gallo.
Extensive menu, delicious flavors! This shrimp cocktail was perfectly refreshing on a scorching hot day.
Nachos were okay, generous meat and cheese but the chips were not great. They got soggy. Nice place to eat outside.
