Best WLM Reviews

I don't care what everyone else says, this place automatically gets 5 stars for the stunningly cheap prices and good portions. Seriously, $6 for a burger and a big portion of fries in 2024?! I felt like I traveled back in time 5 years. Shout-out to this place for holding it down for the community and come here for great, cheap food.
This is the spot for tacos hands down !!!
1.75 per tacos is the most affordable in all of LA the meat selection is huge
They offer other plates or Paltos
Prices are clear and displayed
I will drive out here just for them at night
You can tell this a hometown favorite. Hands down some of the best tacos in LA. You leave this place with a happy wallet and a happy belly. They usually got a compa setting the vibes with his music and the taquero whippin it up on the griddle. Not even kidding I’m in town from San Jose and had to make my pit stop. Don’t sleep on this gem with great prices and authentic cuisine.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed being there.
It reminded me of old places and old tastes. Everything was great. Also, the taco guy and the woman who took the order were great ❤️
The customer service was not great. The cashier got our drinks wrong and when we let her know she was silently rude about it. The food we got was definitely not was pictured. I got the chicken and beef teriyaki plate that fell very short of expectation. When you walk in you can smell delicious food cooking but it just didn't taste great.
For the value this place is unbelievable, the people are wonderful and it’s a part of the community. They have some great tacos. They also have a shrimp fried rice that I enjoyed and the staff is so nice. Been in business 25 years. Taco cart comes in around 3pm on weekdays. Get carne asada and el pastor tacos. They have grilled onions and jalapeños too.
I’ve been coming here for a few years. I love the food here. The only thing I noticed that I didn’t like was the cilantro and the onions are left out in the back literally by 12 feet from the restroom out in the open for flies to land on, today, I ordered a burrito chicken burrito with everything but cheese. The burrito was tiny, and when I been into it, it had bones in it it had nerve it had More bone and nerve than chicken. It was all rice and beans. I told the owner and she said oh I watched him put chicken in there and I gave her the plate with the bones. She didn’t say nothing horrible Service oh and the man the line preparing the food was not wearing gloves. He came from the back, and I asked the owner at the register if he could put gloves on before he makes my burrito, and she gave me some excuse that he doesn’t wear gloves because it releases toxins from gloves, regardless , don’t know if he washed his hands or not but be careful of this place , this is the back where they chopped up the cilantro and the onions and right now there’s a man chopping up mushrooms out of the back of his van in the open . ????
Went on a busy Sunday night. There was a gentleman near the entry doorway singing live karaoke with a semi filled tip jar next to him and a line out of the door. Walking in the doorway you can see a cloud of white, followed by the smell of meat and whole charred onions.
As I got closer to order, I saw a single man working at an incredible pace. Almost as if his hands were dancing to the harmony of the music in the background. The choices were simple. Al pastor or carne asada..easily picked 10 of each.
Surprisingly, it was done in a matter of seconds. It’s not your regular taco joint. They give you the opportunity to sit down, enjoy, and talk..even listen to the atmosphere. The cars passing by in the street alongside, the cries of a toddler who immediately gets held by her mother, or the hoop earrings of a chicana as she walks by with her homegirls. It’s not about the establishment, but the love and dreams in the atmosphere while having a taste of home.
I recommend 10/10. Grab a coke. The glass one, thank me later.
