Best WLM Reviews
I’ve been a loyal customer since 2005 when I first moved to White Center, now that I no longer live there I still drive like 25 minutes just to go get some food from this particular location food always states as great and Service is always good.
OMG !!! It is so delicious!!! Food is amazing!!! This food truck is now my favorite place. Tasty, yummy ????
We came here after seeing all the great reviews. It was good food with good flavor but nothing out of this world. The reason I am giving this a two star is because I ordered a burrito which was like $12 and it was mostly filled with rice. I took pictures as I ate it to show. If I’m paying for a burrito I expect some meat in there as the prices are quite high. I was extremely disappointed. My husband said that the chicken tacos and adobada tacos were meh and the asada tacos were good. The horchata was watered down quite a bit but it was still ok. If you go here beware with ordering things which you cannot see inside. They might just fill it up with rice and beans.
Good food, and pretty straightforward. I think the price is a little steep for a food truck and the food quality they serve. But a quick good place for a bite.
I'm from Texas and was skeptical about one of the most highly acclimated Seattle taco spots. Taqueria la Fondita delivered! These are solid tacos by any standard. I understand the love they get. Try the asada and pastor tacos. They're both great choices to explore more traditional styles of street tacos.
Excellent tacos! The Carnitas are where it is at. Al Pastore is very good as well. They operate with integrity. They had made a mistake with the flavor taco. I wanted, what they gave me was still delicious… But they still brought out the tacos that I ordered! Recommend them highly.
I usually love this place but can’t stand being taken for a fool. I ordered lengua tacos and they threw some lengua on there but filled the rest with cabeza. Lengua is more expensive than cabeza so I feel scammed. You can clearly see the two different types of meat. I paid $38 for 8 tacos. That’s crazy. They been skimping on the meat lately. Probably saves them a ton of costs.
Creen que uno es menso.
Flavor is the best IMO, but I'm a long-time customer with many visits over the past 5 years. Quality has gone down significantly. I've recommended this place to everyone in the past. I spaced my most recent visits as the prices have increased quite a bit since covid. Not knocking the price hike and I am willing to pay more, however, the quality has gone down. As others have mentioned, the salsa and horchata are more watery now.
Burrito Special was $1.99 and it was a meal! Now $2.99 and half the size. Mostly rice and beans. I go to Aliberto's now for burritos. Burrito plates here are also smaller with more rice and beans than anything else. Bummer as it was my go-to for so long. This review is being posted after 4 visits in the past 6 months. Bummer.
Not much they can do about the surrounding neighborhood, but it is in a rough area of White Center.
