I got the steak quesadilla and the carnitas taco and they were both just okay. The steak quesadilla had a ton of gristle in it that I had to pull out with little to no seasoning and the portion was small for the price. I also got one carnitas taco and it was pretty dry and unseasoned, the only moisture it had was from oil. I grew up in the south and I like my food well seasoned so maybe that’s just me. The veggies tasted fresh though so that’s good. The ladies working were nice and it was quick, it’s just the food could be better.
I got the chciken quesadilla and 2 beef tacos, and everything was hot, fresh, and tasty! Very authentic and will be visiting again soon! The Mangonada in the photo is sooooo good! There are two separate trucks you have to order off from and the dessert truck takes cash only
Just okay. I got the chicken burrito, asada Quesadilla, 2 asada tacos, 1 chicken taco, paid $29. The burrito was actually nasty and smaller than I thought it'd be, compared to the pic on the truck. The Quesadilla was good. The tacos were mediocre. Would not return.
I guess if you’re American and speak English they will charge you whatever they feel like as there are no prices posted. Shows me one price on the receipt and charges a higher price to my card. Poor business practice. Highly advise against this place.
I got two tacos and beans with rice. The tacos were decent, but it appeared that the refried beans hadn't been refried. What I received was bean soup served next to some rice. Not only that, but it also had minimal flavor. My meal was not that enjoyable.
Hands down BEST carne quesadilla & horchata I've had since being away from Cali. Tacos were okay too. Enjoyed the shaded seating area as I bit into my food fresh off the grill. Definitely a go to if you want the authenticity.
Really good traditional northern Mexican food including menudo and pozole on weekends. They also have tacos de tripas but it’s not on the menu. You have to ask. There’s lots of covered outdoor seating and a sink with soap for customers.
I have only had the burritos so can't speak for anything else , but this place is not a good spot for burritos, I visited twice trying to give them a chance to redeem themselves from first visit but as before burrito was sloppily rolled , basically it's like they just put the contents inside then folded it over , making it extremely messy to eat THEN it was COLD as if it was sitting in the fridge , i brung it back hoping they'd make me a fresh one but I'm sure they just microwaved it SMH ! Will never return I'll stick to my fav spot on Hammond & Normandy they are AMAZING ! Unfortunately they are closed on Mondays though , hence why the visit here again. Highly disappointed . Staff should visit truck on Hammond for tips on how to SEAR a burrito closed .
