When I go out to eat, I don't want to be excluded because I'm not a local...I want what the same foods, drinks, free appetizer (seafood broth) etc as everyone else. The service wasn't very good, and all my food including my whole fried snapper was EXTREMELY Bland, No flavor, not even salt.... I've never in my entire life had Bland Mexican food. Honestly the ONLY delicious food that I had at this restaurant was the free seafood broth that I had to inquire and ask about and then request to have some too. My frozen margarita wasn't good either....waste of money.
I won't return and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you very obviously blend in as a local....
I’ve been going here for a year now and not once was my food nasty. They are VERY WELCOMING TO ME AND WHO EVER I BRING ALONG. They always greet me and ask how my day is going. Ms. Lupe always serve me and it always feel like your coming to see your warm hearted sweet grandmother cause that’s exactly how she treats the guests.
This place is always consistently great. The tacos are amazing and the tostadas de ceviche are delicious. The ladies that work there are so kind and very attentive. Definitely recommend for anyone that likes authentic Mexican cuisine
Best Place for Ceviche. I've been coming to this place for years and the Ceviche never disappoints. Also Micheladas are fire. Prices are resonable and they do have a kids menu for those with kids. Definately a great spot for a Bite.
Me and my fiancé loved coming to this place but today we ordered our usual tacos and ceviche and they really disappointed us... tacos weren’t what they used to be. But eatable and the ceviche
tasted horrible very watery and it did not taste fresh. we called and asked if we could possibly get another batch or our money back and we were told there was nothing they could do. I was very disappointed after coming to this restaurant for over 10 years and the costumer service being absolute garbage. It’s sad.
Tacos and quesadillas I got were absolutely phenomenal!! Seriously top tier when it comes to real authentic Mexican food. So many different options on the menu and the good comes out pretty fast despite how busy it usually seems! My new go to pick up spot for Mexican/hispanic since I moved into the area.
Food was fresh, delicious, and very tasty. To go service was fast. Staff was friendly, polite and efficient.
This place is the worst for food. I have eaten at some decent Mexican restaurants in Waukegan but this place is something else. My date was very unhappy because of the reviews that this place scored a 4.1 overall. For some people this might be the best food u have eaten or u were just hungry overall. The point for me was there was no flavor in my tacos with avocado. Just terrible and i am not coming back
