Great food, awesome customer service, and reasonable prices, I reviewed 3 years ago. Today, I came back, and our server Juanita was as kind as ever. Taqueria Gomez is definitely a favorite in La Villita.
Tampiqueña and Huaraches are my faves.
The tacos are just the best and delicious. The carne en su jugo is amazing is not too greasy either.
Good prices, great service and of course the tacos were a hit ???? definitely recommend

A small but cozy restaurant, I ordered 3 tacos of cow tounge (lengua) and 1 medium horchata. The food was served rather fast, was in and out in about 30 minutes including eating time. The server was kind and lovely. The tacos were around the same price as most other restaurants around the area but they were big and had more meat than other restaurants in my opinion. Overall a great experience, 5/5, would go again.
Called to place an ordered lady was so rude &had an attitude talking about i dont speak English & hung up on me..

Great authentic Mexican Flavor! Exactly what we needed after a week long trip in Florida. I highly recomend.. had asada torta with everything on it with extra red Salsa (red salsa is the best) also large agua de horchata!
Taqueria Gomez is a small taco place in little village. Service is very attentive, nice pleasant atmosphere. Their Gorditas are the bomb. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star, is cause their burritos have less meat than their $2.25 tacos. So enjoy the gorditas, enjoy their tacos, but avoid their Burritos!!!
